“Everyone in our household likes to go to the Classic Family Restaurant in Denton NC monthly.. The food is Family style on a buffet bar and everything is always hot and delicious. I love going there for the vegetables, mash potatoes and meatloaf. The Classic reminds me of K&W but the food at the Classic is much better. They have so many items it is hard to list all of them. Like I mentioned, we go there often and have never been disappointed. The servers are GREAT and pay close attention to each customer to assure every visitor is taken care of. I highly recommend The Classic Restaurant in Denton NC”

“What a cute little roadside place! Cash only!!! You can phone ahead with about 20 minute lead time. The refried beans are the best I have ever had. They're flavorful and somewhat spicy; a good spice that hits nicely in the back of the palate. I usually get the ACP. The rice is soft and flavorful in its own. The chicken is seasoned well and isn't overly salty. The best part, the cheese dip, is a flavorful, creamy treat. It's a HUGE portion of food, and if I had to estimate, about two pounds worth. No matter what I order, I always have leftovers for one large meal or two smaller meals. The employees inside are very friendly and helpful. They're a pleasure to interact with. There are a few picnic tables to eat at. Since everything is packed "to go," be sure to ask for utensils if you're like me and plan to eat in your vehicle.”

“Myself and my wife went there on a whim passing by, it was not busy so we decided to stop and try out their food. The service was great we were seated immediately and brought our drinks. Once we ordered the food was brought fairly quickly and it was all very good and hot. The food had a great taste and was prepared fresh. They offered salad bar and the waitress stayed on top of our drink refills which was refreshing not to have to ask. The establishment is a little older but has a great feel and would be a great place to take family and friends or children. The portions are worth the price . I recommend trying the restaurant out and I will return again.”

“I’ve driven by this place a hundred times and finally made my way down the peaceful and 1/2 mile driveway that leads to the winery. My friend and I were greeted by the owners friendly dog and one of the owners- Shane. Shane told us about the vineyard before we started on our wine sampling. I can tell you, out of 6 samplings, my friend and I liked all but one. So it was tough trying to decide the one to purchase. (We both left with a white and a red wine).I look forward to revisiting this spring when the outdoor entertainment begins with a splendid glass (or two) of wine.”

“My wife and I made a reservation for Friday night and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised at the food, the service, and the ambience. For a small, cozy and quaint place the chef is absolutely outstanding. The meals were tasty, with fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. My wife asked if he would make her a vegetarian dish, and she said it was literally the best vegetarian meal she’s ever had. Everything was outstanding, and we were blown away to find such a wonderful dinner in a relatively small town. The service was also very polite, friendly and professional. If you’re in the Lexington area, you always yourself to make a reservation!”

“When they first started serving chicken it was amazing. I was addicted!But the last few times I've gotten it, it's been way too salty. The last time I was barely able to eat it.It seems that since they've had kids working in the kitchen the quality has gone down.Also, I've learned that they cook pork in the same oil as the chicken. This means that people who don't or can't eat pork, can get sick when they eat the chicken.”

“The food here is amazing, don't let the faded interior fool you. The line at the drive through and at the counter should tell you all you need to know. My only knock would be the country-ham biscuit I got was a little light on ham but it was fresh and tasty. Otherwise the pancakes are a massive hit with my kids as are the cinnamon roll bites (think fair food). It's worth taking a little detour for biscuit king”

“I am a huge fan of pretty much every sir pizza location I've found and this one is no different. They all have slight variations on flavor but this location is among the closest to what I consider the original and therefore is excellent. They did a robust take out business while I was here but surprisingly the dining room wasn't very populated. That was great by me as I got to enjoy my pizza in peace. Our service was great and everyone was super friendly. This location is a little out of the way for me but I will certainly visit again”

“I've been eating at this restaurant for years, but for some reason have never reviewed it until now. And here's the thing about Christo's: some of the criticisms in other reviews are valid, and there are definitely things the restaurant could and should aspire to do better with. The service here, and the atmosphere it sometimes creates, is something I've never really seen in a restaurant before: some of the staff here can be downright rude. Sometimes, you'll find a group of servers/employees standing at the front near the buffet waiting on orders loudly discussing work drama and speaking negatively about the place and/or other employees. Sometimes it's other customers who lack manners. And yes, if you go at certain times (the end of lunch, for example) you're going to get pizza from the buffet that's last its prime. But even with all of that in mind, we love eating here because the food is just really good when it's done right. They serve my husband's favorite Philly cheese steak. Their pastas and subs are fantastic, and though inconsistent, their wings are awesome. The pizza buffet has an excellent variety of pizzas, and the corresponding salad bar has a ton of different toppings and my favorite restaurant ranch dressing. The supreme pizza, as well as the Philly cheese steak bread stuff, are among the best options, and their dessert pizzas are a really yummy change of pace as well. Even though this place does have its flaws and its bad days, we keep coming back because we just love the food that much at the end of the day.”
