“We had such a great time getting dinner here! Our waiter was so helpful and the service was great. I'm pregnant so I was thrilled to see so many NA drink options! To eat, we ordered goat cheese stuffed peppers, eggplant, chip wrapped chorizo, shrimp and octopus. Everything was amazing but the peppers and eggplant were some of the best food we'd ever had. We can't wait to come back!”
“We were greeted warmly at the door, and our server was extremely gracious and provided wine samples to help us choose the right bottle. The raw oysters were fresh and bright, the Big Bowl of Greens was a terrific salad to share. The NC Trout and Pork Schnitzel entrees were flawless. We shared a Black Forest Cake for dessert. In summary, it was a perfect dining experience.”
“We found this little gem by chance and were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, kid friendly (albeit its an adult place). We sat at a small corner table by the bar. We enjoyed some sharable plates, great wines, mocktails for the kids, excellent wines and my wife a great Vesper made by Luci (the bartender). But the cherry on top was the fact that she made a perfect Irish Coffee - a simple drink, but buttered by 99% of the bar tenders. We will be back.”
“Some friends had recommended we try Huli Sue’s while in Asheville. This place is a must-visit! Great vibes, delicious food and unique flavours. The mochiko chicken sandwich, the nachos, and the BBQ (especially the ribs) were all awesome. We also grabbed a brownie to go. Will definitely be back next time we are in Asheville.”
“One of the best meals I’ve ever had! Each dish was absolutely amazing. We ordered the pork lumpia, tuna, scallops, steak frites and queso ice cream. I can’t speak highly enough about how delicious each entree was. The staff was so friendly and I can’t wait to come back to Asheville just for this restaurant!”
“I recently visited the plant for dinner and wow what an experience! Everything we ordered from the menu was fantastic. The mushroom ravioli was exceptional, definitely coming back for more. The curry bowl was amazing too! We also tried the peanut butter cheesecake and the cardamom creme brulee. One of the best creme brulees I have had!”
“One of the famous Indian Restaurants in Asheville so it gets crowded almost always. Wait time for us over and hr. We put our name on the waitlist and walked around the downtown. Food is good. Staff is courteous. Okra fries are the best. It’s thin sliced okra fried with little of salt and chat masala. Vada pav is really good too. Reminded me of Mumbai vada pav. Chicken kathi was decent. Butter chicken Thali was interesting. It had jaggery in it. Wasn’t bad but very different from what I expected. Thali had dal which was amazing. Overall really good food.”
“Amazing restaurant with the best food. Creative and so well executed. Awesome, welcoming staff. Truly a wonderful dining experience which I highly recommend. I had rhe House Fettuccine, which was one of rhe best entrees I've had in a long time.”
“A real nice restaurant. A menu for most tastes and appetites. I went on a weeknight. It was busy but not overly. I had the soup of the day (a veggie-based creamy) and the calamari and kale salad. They have starters, smaller dishes, larger entrees, desserts, and plenty of beverage options. They change the menu regularly. It can be expensive, or moderate, depending on your selections.”
“Absolutely one of the best places for Indian food we have been to. The place is new but the are a sister restaurant to Andaaz in Biltmore. The quality is very comparable and the drinks are a wonderful blend of flavors Eric had the Lamb Vindaloo while I had the Brazino. Both were amazing The staff were very friendly and helpful. Kevin the bartender was great. But don't get confused he isn't Indian. The owner Tony does have a vested interest and personally gets input from the patrons”
“Small amounts with an outrageous flavor. The margaritas are worth the stop. Had only one, tasted two and it stopped a headache. Tasty and delicious, leaving me want more yet just enough.”
“Celebrated my daughter’s Michelle’s birthday dinner. Surprise was the cannoli and lovely strawberry on a lovely plate with a pink & white candle lit. Such a pleasant surprise. Excellent service. TY Gemellis. Perfect celebrationParking: Also close were the Handicap parking garage etc. TY so much”
“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!”
“Finally found the Boba Fruit Milk Tea with poppers I have been wanting! 4 years ago tried Milk Fruit Boba tea on vacation but never found another place that made it similar around home. Just discovered this the other day! Staff were super helpful and answered all my questions. Mango milk boba tea was amazing. I would like to throw it out there and suggest for mango and strawberry flavors it would be cool if you could get tiny pieces of the fruit chopped up and mixed in with the poppers or boba. I can't wait to go back and try the pastries! Had a large beautiful selection of many tasty goodies. Definitely going to be a repeat customer for the milk boba tea. Conveniently located very close to the parking garage at 40 Coxe.”
“I’m not usually one to go for Indian food, but this place is amazing! It’s very flavorful and all of the ingredients have been blended expertly. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Lamb ”
“Here for my friends Bachelorette weekend. Never been to Asheville before and this place was awesome! The staff was super friendly! First time at a piano bar! So much fun!”
“Our server Rachel was the whole experience. Chef was accommodating with our requests. When restaurant fill-up and by that I mean 9 tables, the noise level was higher. All in all great experience.”
“Visited 3/25/24. Omg go to rebel burger if you haven't been already-what a solid food truck this is. My biggest regret was that I ate this burger so quick that I didn't have time to take pics. The process is fairly simple, you order via QR code, grab a drink at Hi-Wire if you wish in the meantime, then wait for them to email you that your order is ready. My mom and I split a rebel burger and an abundance bowl. The only thing we couldn't think of was how to tweak the ingredients while ordering online (my mom initially didn't want the mayo), but honestly upon trying the burger, we both admitted the ingredients included were perfection. That is one good burger and the bun was delicious too. And the abundance bowl was just as good-so flavorful and well balanced. A side/smaller version of the abundance bowl would be an awesome option instead of fries as something to go with the burger (we didn't want fries because we had already had some earlier in the day). It works just as well on its own though and is pretty large so you may find yourself with leftovers. This is one food truck you shouldn't miss.”
“At Jettie Rae's Oyster House in Asheville, folks, I embarked on a seafood escapade that rocked my taste buds to the core! Picture this: Mussels so sublime, they practically waltzed onto my palate, and the branzino – oh, that branzino – a flavor fiesta that had me questioning if I'd stumbled upon seafood nirvana! ?? And let me tell you, if you're thinking of hitting this place, make reservations because it's a flavor party that gets packed faster than you can say "delicious!" Lol Massive shoutout to the stellar service and a staff so friendly, they're practically your seafood soulmates! ???”
“We had a fantastic time. The facility was amazing and a lot of fun. Our tour guide Brittany did an amazing job. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We will be definitely be back to tour again.”
“After coming to Asheville twice a year for 5 years, I really regret not knowing about this restaurant before. Today we decided to stop by and we had an amazing dinner experience. Flavorful, fresh and served with an honest and friendly smile. Deserve the high reviews and a bit more.”
“Pizza Mind is a fantastic neighborhood pizza place! We loved the crust, sauce and cheese blend, and the toppings were really high quality. There was a large selection of beers & ciders, and the decor is super fun. If you're in Ashville, you can't go wrong with this place!”
“Great atmosphere, waitress was awesome. The atmosphere was nice. But, honestly, I ordered the smash burger, and it was far from impressive. It tasted like frozen patties from Costco that were cooked and some sauce put on it. Not impressed at all.”
“A west Asheville treasure! The sweet potato cauliflower soup was smooth as silk and full of flavor! The confit mushrooms were outstanding and locally sourced! The trout was perfect! I highly recommend trying Jargon.”
“I'm biased cause I have family who work for this rest group, but this place is amazing. Sooo happy I can now get my okra fries fix without going downtown. The desi salad is fabulous, too.”
“Huge fan of this place! Great mezcal selection, friendly service, and good prices. It is a very small space, so be aware of that if you're coming in with a group. Big fan of the El Tamarindo in particular.”
“My delightful visit to The Lobster Trap in October 2014 left me with a taste of the ocean and a dash of excitement. As a devoted seafood enthusiast, I was eager to sample their offerings. Here’s my refreshed take:Food: The dishes were an absolute feast for the senses. From succulent lobster to perfectly prepared clams, each bite transported me to coastal bliss.Beer Selection: While the beer selection didn’t quite match the excellence of the seafood, it was like a refreshing sea breeze on a warm day. Perhaps an expanded variety would elevate the overall experience even further.Pricing: Yes, the bill left me raising an eyebrow, but let’s focus on the positives. The quality of the food justified some of the cost, and the ambiance made it a memorable evening. In summary, my experience at The Lobster Trap was a harmonious blend of delight and anticipation. If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is a must-visit. Just be prepared to savor every moment—and maybe splurge a little.”
“I really wish that I could give Tall John's more than 5 stars because it's perfect. The menu is American classics done with skill and attention to detail. We've been twice in one week and every single dish is delicious. The tartare comes with crackers that have been lovingly fried and aren't the least big greasy as well as a whole pile of fresh soft herbs and the pan sauce from the roast chicken is good enough to drink. We are extremely particular about cocktails and these have clearly been meticulously fine tuned. They come ice cold in chilled glasses and it is deeply satisfying. I think you can always tell when staff like working at a restaurant and the staff seems relaxed and happy. Service is just as good as the food. I described a salad I'd seen someone eating on a previous visit to our server and he said he was pretty sure it was the "very good green salad." After he brought it and I'd had some he said "is that the salad you dreamed of?" We wish service would be like this everywhere and all these details will keep us coming back again and again.”
“Had an excellent experience booking the food truck to come to our office - they were super easy to work with, communicative, early, and the food was amazing! This was a great and cost effective way to feed a bunch of our staff.”
“By far and away thr best subway I have been in lately. The staff was so friendly it was amazing. Food was good, they have the slightly older counter set up which I feel like has more topping choices, but that may be in my mind. Has traffic lights at both ends of shopping center which makes getting in and out during lunch hours much easier than I thought it would be.Vegetarian options: My wife likes the veggie sub”
