“I will stand by this place for life; if Umami's has followers then I'm a one of them, if Umami's has 1000 followers then I'm one of those 1000; if there are only 10 followers, then I am one of those ten; if Umami's only has 1 follower then I am that one; and if no one is following Umami's, then I'm dead or the world has ended. Umami's is the best Japanese food I've ever tasted HANDS DOWN. No other overpriced hibachi place could breathe next to their quality of food. I don't really want to write a review of this place because I can't handle this place being overcrowded when I want to go eat here, but I feel like the owners deserve it. As long as nothing changes in the flavor, pricing (I get inflation but come on) or the quality then this place will forever be in my top places to eat, period.“
“Amazing lil gem ? of a restaurant. The amazing reviews are 100 percent correct. This place was amazing it was my first time here as we had only recently moved here. I absolutely loved my sushi roll soft shell crab and the Ramen was sooooo delicious. Definitely recommend this place !!“
“Very nice quaint restaurant. The staff were friendly, food was beautifully plated and delicious! The servings were fairly priced. Really enjoyed our visit and my kids can't wait to come again. We rarely dine out so this experience was a truly enjoyable one, thank you for the excellent meals.“
“This place my wife had found on a accident. Actually she went without me and I saw it on fb. So I had to go. The food was amazing the prices weren't bad and we will come back again and again and again but let me just show you some of these delicious items and you will have to check them out for “
“The food is so good. My only issue is the spring rolls. The first time we ordered, the rolls were perfect. Every time since the rolls have been soggy in the middle, even when they are fresh and hot on the outside so I’m assuming they don’t fry them long enough. The sushi and hibachi bowls are always good.“
“I stop in from time to time. I love my visits here every time. Brought my wife here for an impromptu date and was happy to watch her genuinely enjoy her meal. We had our food on the table within 3 minutes of ordering it. Yes, all of our food! Pictures shown of the meals to show that the portions are no joke too. It was a bit pricey, but worth every cent. Please give this place a shot and let me know what you think.“
“Very clean and friendly atmosphere, didn’t know which sushi to order, we told the sushi chef we like a fried shrimp and he made us a delicious “ dragon roll “ sushi ( I think it’s called) and my husband had a Hibachi grilled chicken and steak fried rice and they were delicious.“
“Let me say, this place was surprising . I happened to be in the area and found this restaurant as I was walking around. I loved the sushi and the bento was great. The little blonde girl and the boy in the front were extremely friendly and super helpful. They didn’t make me feel rushed when ordering, answered all my questions, they accommodated my request really well and without making a fuss. The restaurant was quaint and cute, the prices didn’t seem unreasonable, the service was fast and I’ll definitely be back. I appreciate that the little girl went above and beyond for me too and was nice enough to ask me how many utensils I needed, if we needed an extra plates, the way she asked “Is there anything else I can get for you?” Vs “do you need anything?” She was polite and very sweet. I’ll definitely be back and be accompanied with all my friends. 10/10 for me in my book“
“This place is usually pretty empty when we go, which is suitable to my preferences. I always get their musubi and it always hits, just like their cucumber salad. The fried rice is basic, yet top tier. Their Fayetteville roll was quite a surprise to find on the menu so I obviously had to get it, being a local, and it was absolutely epic. I do have to say that this one of the better places in town!“
“Shogun off of Ramsey Street is sooo yummy. We went on Sunday for dinner and grabbed some apps, sushi, and hibachi for our family of 5. The apps were great we got shrimp, pork dumplings, and sushi. The King Roll was absolutely delicious! We had the Salmon and Lobster Hibachi which was excellent! The children's menu offered hibachi and our kids enjoyed the chicken and steak hibachi with fried rice. The kids portions are a great size and all the food made perfect leftovers. We really had a lovely experience and hope you do too! The lunch menu looked fantastic as well!“
“I don't like going anywhere else for Japanese food. I think they are better than that overpriced Mikioto Express. Been eating from here for 5 years and I am recognized every time I go in. The taste and quality never changes. Love this place.“
“I came here with a friend and her spouse during lunch and we opted for their lunch buffet. It is located right outside the gate south side of Fort Liberty. It has a very limited parking as it is shared with the other establishments in the same strip. It can definitely get crazy busy during lunch hours since it located right outside the base. Walking in, the staff were very welcoming, courteous, and overall friendly. The place is good for teams, large groups, and solo. The buffet menu was very limited, but more than enough for a filling lunch. The noodles, the spicy pork, the bulgogi, the dumplings, the fried rolls, the fried chicken, the veggies, and the fried rice were all delicious. I specifically lived the fried rice. I've only been here once, but my friends frequent this place. And now I know why. I would definitely come back here again whenever I am in the area.“
“Nona Sushi is an excellent restaurant to visit. I have yet to find a competitor in the area that beats their Ramen. The Sushi is well prepared and fresh with various combinations. Price is on point with quality. I will continue to dine here in the future.“
“If you’re looking for a tasty hot Japanese meal without going to an expensive steakhouse, this place is for you.I love Miyabi Jr. It is hands down the tastiest, highest quality Japanese takeout in Fayetteville and probably the best I’ve ever had. It is a bummer all meals are in take out boxes now due to covid, because miyabi jr used to be a sit-down restaurant with real plates and waiters that would always clean up the mess. Regardless, the quality of food and service has never faltered. They have the best teriyaki chicken I have EVER had. Like seriously, I think about this teriyaki chicken all the time. I have tried to recreate it to no avail. While living in Fayetteville, I have probably been here at least twice a month every single month since I discovered it 8 years ago with no exaggeration. The food has NEVER been less than excellent and they’ve never gotten my order wrong either.“
“This is my second time eating from the restaurant. Tonight I ordered beef and broccoli with fried rice and egg roll, a small hot and sour soup, and a small chicken fried rice. First this restaurant is clean, the young girl who took my order on the phone was very nice and helpful, she said it would be 10 to 15 minutes it was less than that. This food is by far the best I have eaten and I have eaten at a few. I have to drive quite a ways but for the best taste and price I will continue to. I have to say it’s good to have something affordable and delicious.❤️“
“Stopped in to pick up dinner for the family, had a glass of my favorite plum sake heated up and a ginger salad while I waited! Staff was quick with service and very friendly! There Unagi sushi is delicious... I have to get 6 pieces since my 7 yo daughter loves it as well! (Only because she doesn't know what it really is! LOL)“
“HIGHLY recommended! My first experience with this chain was in another city, so I was excited to find one here in town!I'm so impressed with this place. The staff is friendly, the entire restaurant is super clean, and the food is INCREDIBLE! Everything tasted so fresh and cooked perfectly. We received our order quickly as well. Please try them out if you're looking for a place to eat.“
“The food was great. They did take a while to come but it's ok The California rolls were great tho I don't know why they cut the cucumbers in peace's when they could of just made it one peice but I did not make it so it's ok We also had shrimp tempura rolls it was very flavorful and delicious now the drinks we brought sprites for our daughters and the sprites had no syrup it tasted like sparkling water Luckily the waitress did give us another one but it still tasted bad it has syrup but it's fine when we got seated it smelt like gas the waitress was very nice“
“We went during a busy time on a Saturday night. The food was fine, I wasn't a fan of the amount of sauce that goes on the noodles. The little drummer boy was obnoxious to me. It was an overstimulating experience every time he would start and stop the drums before finally wishing a guest at another table a happy birthday. As we were leaving, our waitress found out we were also celebrating our birthdays and wished we told her. I informed her about my annoyance with little drummer boy and being overstimulated and left it at that. My sister enjoyed her food, but I probably won't return, though.“
“The owners here are amazing, anyone working that day will go into detail about their dishes and will even open a container to let you sample! The customer service here ALMOST outweighs the quality of the food :) We had several of their sushi rolls and if you're liking for just a regular California roll this probably isn't your place, they have real sushi with great ingredients and very interesting but tasty combinations. We tried the kimchi and will be going back for the cucumber kimchi and the bulgogi. Their mother makes several things fresh every other weekend, I would suggest you get on the rotation!!“
