“Absolutely wonderful evening. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we felt welcomed. The host was wonderful finding a table for us that could accommodate a 2 1/2 year old. Our kiddo just loved the booth because he could look outside the window and keep himself amused. The dinner was top-notch. We all had filet mignon, and each steak was perfect prior to the steak. We enjoyed a variety of appetizers. There was nothing left on any of the plates after we were done - they were literally licked clean...and then there was desert. OMG the chocolate layer cake and tiramisu were unbelievable. The wine was also very nice - a really great menu...it would be hard not to find something you would enjoy. Really cannot say anything but great things about this restaurant...we all wish it was a little closer to our home so that we could go more often! Oh, and we can't forget the wait staff - unbelievably professional and just really a lot of fun - made the night! PS - Our kiddo LOVED the bread and pasta!!!! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Last comment, the atmosphere - Very casual vibe while still upscale. Can't wait for the spring when they open the patio will be an even better experience.”

“Stopped in right when they opened for lunch on a weekday. The service matched the food - excellent. I ordered a gringa quesadilla for husband (HA!) and a street corn for myself. Delicious! “We’ve been to Vino & Vine a handful of times now and every single time we walk out extremely pleased! Melissa is super attentive and very knowledgeable. Her selection of wine is incredible and has options for every palette. She even has cute stands for shopping and all her products are affordable & great quality which makes for the perfect gift baskets. If you are thinking of dropping in please do! You won’t regret! “Me and my husband stopped for ice cream on a whim. I purchased some cookies to eat later.I have been a baker myself for many years but since it is only my husband and myself now I haven't made homemade cookies in a while. I have never purchased cookies in a bakery that I totally love because most bakeries us too much salt or do not have a good blend of ingredients.I loved these cookies. They were PERFECT. Perfect blend of all ingredients.Highly recommend trying their cookies. They are delicious!”

“We tried this little gem today for lunch. They did an amazing job renovating this restaurant. It's absolutely beautiful and plenty of seating for small and larger groups. We were greeted immediately and the service was great! Everyone in our party lived their food. I had the brisket Philly (minus onions and peppers) and fries. There was a ton of very well flavored brisket on my sandwich and the fries were crispy but not over done. We tried the beignets for dessert and they were hot, fresh and delicious.”

“This is my favorite coffee shop in town! Their coffee is delicious, and I normally pair it with a breakfast burrito. I love being able to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend while my toddler gets to go play.”

“First things first, the biggest complaint seems to be the ambiance or the lack thereof. I agree that it is not a place for a great dine-in experience. That aside, the food that I tasted so far was perfect without exception. The owners are very friendly as long as customers treat them fairly. I witnessed an exchange with a customer who was hostile from the beginning and seemingly planned to get a free meal before even walking in. Bottom line: 5 stars for food and service, 3 stars for ambience. I am sure the dining area will improve as business recovers.”

“My family and I just ordered subs and they were packaged nicely and tasted very fresh. I have never seen a sub packed so neatly. The subs were prepared by Adam and I can tell that he puts pride into his work. He also provided superb customer service especially for a younger man. During this pandemic I’ve seen a decline in customer service and the taste of food across the board. Adam is helping America get back to normal. Thanks Adam!!!”

“I typically don't leave reviews, but felt inclined to do so this time. I always notice the low review for this location, and it honestly affected my decision to not visit. However today my son wanted a burger so we stopped in. They were all nice when ordering. We enjoyed everything we had (Nashville chicken, hot dog, burger and fries.) my 6 year old son even wanted a second burger. The renovations are a nice touch as well. Will definitely be back.”

“If you’re the kind of person who likes authentic food from Tuscany this is pretty much a dream destination. The freshest and most authentic dishes can only really be found in the motherland, but Amalias dedicated culinary arts has to be tasted to be believed. Kick back with a bottle of Duoro wine from Portugal with plummy fruit and spice flavors, the good acidity and the occasionally rugged tannins are more than a little reminiscent of a port. A great suggestion from our waiter, Gaitino who is from Sardinia. His fascination of food and wine is very apparent. Have you ever walked out of a restaurant feeling perfectly content after a decadent meal, surrounded by the comforts of an Italian manor only to be surprised by the fact that you’re still in Wake Forest, North Carolina.We will definitely be back with our family.”

“Farm Table is a warm, welcoming place. It has a nice ambience and excellent service. The food is good and the portions are generous. Altogether a very nice dining option in Wake Forest. My only quibble is with the Grilled Pork Chop. Most people seem to love it, but I thought the "cherry mostarda" somewhat overwhelmed the dish. I was mostly tasting this sauce and not the porkchopy goodness I was expecting. The Short Ribs with the risotto and asparagus was very rich and excellent. I do plan to go back and try some of the other dishes.”

“This is my go-to coffee shop whenever I'm in the area. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is fast. But the real star of the show is the Honey Bee Latte. It's seriously the best latte I've ever had - perfectly sweet and creamy with a delicious hint of honey. I highly recommend checking this place out!”

“I love stopping by Black & White when I’m in Wake Forest! I recently tried their coffee lemonade which is nitro cold brew with lemonade and it was nice and refreshing on a hot day. Their regular cold brew and pour overs are also great if you’re in the mood for black coffee. If you’re looking to pick up a bag of coffee beans, they have MANY varieties to choose from - and you can try them first as a pour over before committing to buying an entire bag. I would love to see more plant based options for food/pastries but there is an all-vegan bakery just down the road.Parking: Plenty of spots out front and street parking availableDietary restrictions: Oat milk available for coffee drinks”

“THEY HAVE THE BEST ICE CREAM EVER. They give Cold Stone a run for their money. Lumpys home makes everything, even their vanilla extract. It tastes so natural and very soft. They have every flavor and they all are good. And the service is very polite and won't stop till they see you satisfied. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“This was my first time here today. I have been meaning to come in and I'm very happy I finally did. I ordered online. The process was very easy and I was able to select my pick-up time. When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner, and she was very nice. While she went to get my order, I was greeted by the other owner, to make sure I was being helped. They were very friendly and personable. My food was ready when I came in for my pick-up time. The restaurant looked very clean as well.After my short drive home, the food was hot and it smelt amazing. I got an order of brisket, pork belly burnt ends, and some mac and cheese. The food tasted VERY good. The brisket was juicy and had a beautiful pink smoke ring. The rub on the brisket was noticeable and added great flavor. The pork belly was tender and easy to eat. The Smitty sauce was an excellent compliment to the meat and the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was so cheesy and there was a beautiful cheese pull on every bite. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu. I definitely need another order of that mac and cheese! Thank you!Parking: The parking is right in front of the building, that is attached to other buildings in a strip mall. There was plenty of parking. I got a spot right in front of the door.”

You'll find all the basics here, fresh eggs, fluffy pancakes, delectable sausage, great coffee and a few surprises, too. Signature dishes like the "Beggle", Ribeye sandwich, Breakfast Enchilada and daily specials fulfill that end. Great food, reasonable prices and wonderful attentive service amidst a comfortable "way back when" atmosphere all combine to make The Border an enjoyable escape.”

“I have only been to the Yacht Club a few times, but every time has been great. The owner and the staff are very personable. There is plenty of seating inside and has some long tables outside to relax and enjoy a cold beer. Plenty pf different options on tap. Check it out!”
