Great place. I know I know, I don’t like when people that say “Im from NY” either but… I grew up in NYC and this Chinese restaurant is the closest I’ve had to good NY Chinese food. I’ve been in NC since 2010 and have tasted just above every restaurant here and this New Rainbow is where it is :). I actually been eating from here for about 3 yrs now, and they never disappoint. I've never really been all that into Chinese food, until i moved out here and tried this place! They really know how to make proper Chinese! I've never had general tsos chicken even half as good as this place makes them, it's so perfect, and the same goes for the eggrolls and wonton soup as well. I'm just so glad i found this place, there's absolutely no chance I'll ever be looking for Chinese food anywhere else out here again! This has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years. I've tried others in the area and this one by far is the best. The family that runs it has been there since day one and his friendly and welcoming when you come in. I love the beef broccoli and the general tso's chicken. Also, they're hot and sour soup is great for cold days or feeling under the weather. Food is typically ready within 15 to 20 minutes no matter how much you order! Definitely recommend you give them a try!
