The food was all very tasty. The service was ok but slow. Very slow. It took more than 20 minutes for mixed drinks and more than 30 minutes for our entrees. My husband was joking with the waitress about "do I need to go back there?" and she was not amused. After that, she seemed to have an attitude with him. Was in Goldsboro for #NCMainStreet conference this week. My grouped liked the Laughing Owl so much we ate there twice. Food was delicious and considering how many diners there were, the staff did a great job with service!

A friend took me to lunch here last week. I was impressed! The food was excellent and I really liked the decor. The service was also very good. My friend special ordered her meal and they were very accommodating.
