Ordered for pick up through app. Only I chose the wrong store and sent it to the NC location, not SC. SC location said I need to call and cancel with NC and then re-ring it. Honestly, there should be an easier process in place for this type of situation …. Surely I’m not the only one who’s ever done this??? Second, your associate (Greenville, NC), who seemed not in a good mood and uninterested in really helping, insisted I could cancel “through the app”. I understand that there are 3rd party apps that you use, but this order specifically went through the website and she was insisting there would be a cancel button or I’d have to “contact them” (meaning whatever app) … I had to call back a second time after searching high and low for a cancel button or any indication of which app it had been routed through. Every confirmation I have is directly from Ale house. Associate was huffy and put me on hold, eventually coming back stating the manager was in a meeting but would take my phone number and last 4, that they would text me when the order was canceled. I still have not received this text. Not sure if this was ever done, and if I can’t get the payment reversed, there will be a dispute … but either way, poor customer service. And as I said, Ale house as a whole needs a better policy for mistakes like this…. Surely it wouldn’t be hard to transfer $ from one store to another to avoid this hassle?But, I will gladly remove this review if someone is able to be helpful and refund my order. Thank you!

I absolutely love this location. The food is delicious and priced reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. A server by the name of Alexis was fantastic! She made our visit a pleasant one. Our food was delivered hot and fast! I will be back!

Many firsts for me this year...this is one of them. Gotta say. I paid way to much for my last steak and lobster dinner. This place was fantastic from the service -->to the steak -->to the lobster cooked to perfection . Thank you for the excellent service! Very attentive. My family was very happy. Happy Holidays!

Pretty good food. The veggie burger was okay, the spinach dip was perfect. Our waitress was almost like a ghost when we wanted to pay. Looked around for about 15 minutes trying to find her.

I have been a loyal customer of this place for 5 years. Today, I am done. The staff working reflects the manager. Each time I come in I notice how the level of quality in terms of service is a reflection of the manager on duty. Tonight was the worst. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I arrived and noticed that one staff member was doing the job of three people while other staff were standing around. OK, maybe it is a bit slow - no problem. I paid my bill and was assured that I could wait at the bar and have the food brought to me. From my seat at the bar I could watch the staff prepare the orders for take-out. As the staff member walked by she assured me my food would be ready shortly. I watched her explain to other staff that I was waiting at the bar. I saw the staff fill a bag for take-out but it just sat there. On one of her many laps around the restaurant, my waitstaff person came by a second time and assured me it would not be too much longer. It was about 10 minutes later that she saw me - still sitting there - and was surprised. She went back to check and quickly brought the bag that I know had been just sitting there for 15 minutes at least. My receipt showed that I ordered the food at 6:04 and it was 6:40 before I was given my take-out order. It was not a busy night. I was the only person at the bar. The manager seemed oblivious to the lack of teamwork under his leadership. I spoke to him briefly to complain and he had nothing to say. He made no offer to assuage my anger and distress at the breakdown in service. Only one person on that team seemed to care and she was doing more work than anyone in the restaurant. I'm done. I won't be back.

I've been here several times in the last 7 years, recently this place is crashing. It WAS... a great place to go, but recently the staff and management have become disrespectful. I'm being overcharged all the time by the bartenders and when I point it out they just "Shrug" it off and still expect me to pay the overcharged price. The management is increasingly unfriendly to the point it's gross incompetence. I got so discussed by one manager that I didn't even finish my drink and I left after her racist comment to me. The food quantity is getting smaller & smaller as the price is going higher & higher. Customer service has gone out the window. In Greenville, NC. there are lots of other places to go.

Okay so first this place used to actually be good . I first went with my ex enjoyed my drink, my food and everything . Went back about a week ago the food was great but the drinks were terrible . Something tasted like old fruit in my drink . And my boyfriend just didn't like his sides, which wasn't the restaurant's fault he's just picky. But then we went back last night(cause they're one of the only cars that close late), and I ordered the same thing I did about a week ago and omg omg. So the waitress who was okay, brings me my plate, says "they gave you one piece of salmon I had to make them add another cause that was not enough!" and my first instinct after really looking is to send it back. The rice pilaf was half missing, hard, dry and in one clump. So dry that it taste parcooked, but it wasn't it had just developed a "crust". My vegetable side consisted of two pieces of broccoli, and three slices of zucchini and squash, and three cherry tomatoes. Yes 7 pieces of tiny vegetables. The sauce the came with my food, was somehow on his plate tonight and not mine. And honestly if I hadn't ordered this EXACT same meal a week before I would've assumed this what my plate was supposed to look like and would have never paid for it or came back. I wanted to send it back so bad but in the time that the waitress had gave us our food she didnt come back for about twenty minutes. My boyfriend says he didn't like how it looked either cause that's not how it looked last time, I was going to give the kitchen staff a hard time so I took a picture started eating instead. The more I ate the more I wished I had sent it back it was so very unsatisfying. But he didn't tip because I told him repeatedly I hated my meal and we even had to go find the server to get out check leave because she kept disappearing.

I can’t rate the food here, because we never got any. We were there on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00, and they didn’t seem terribly busy. The host was friendly and gestured toward a few tables, telling us to take our pick. We did and he brought over a high chair for our child. He assured us that wait staff would be with us shortly. Our table was right by the server station and staff walked by us several times over approximately 15 mins.Just as we were discussing leaving, a waitress walked by and said she would be with us momentarily. We waited another almost 10 minutes and as I picked up my bag for us to leave, she came over to take our drink orders. They did not have my husband’s first choice, and were out of his second choice, so we ordered water and started to place our food orders, but were quickly told they were out of the entrees we wanted as well. We thanked the waitress and told her we’d go elsewhere and quickly left.We’d been looking forward to trying CAH, but after reading some Yelp reviews, it looks like our experience was not an isolated one, so we probably won’t be back.

Fantastic service from Erin. They really helped us out when another restaurant in town turned us away because we had a large group. Carolina Ale House stepped up and said absolutely. Food was good, but service was impeccable. Ice cold beer and cocktails that are not watered down. Didn't get a picture but food is consistent. Not always as ordered but nonetheless good. Ordered southwest burger medium with fresh jalapeños and fries extra crispy. Burger came out more medium (borderline medium well) and fries on point. Burger was still juicy. I recommend ordering one below what you typically eat.

What a night I had. I order 12 grill honey Buffalo chicken wings. So they kept bring me bbq chicken wings that I didn’t order took them twice to get my order right And still didn’t get what I order. Then waited on the French fries that I order made to the table 35 minutes later came to the table had asked for it. But overall the waitress was nice

ordered a Guinness beer, had a friend try it and we both thought it was flat. told our server and she said ok and ask the manager about changing the line. I know my Guinness it's not about the line. so she came back and said nothing they could do about it. asked if I would like another beer I said yes. when I got my tap the guinness was still on my tap. I asked her about it, she said there was nothing they could do since the beer was poured correctly. it had absolutely nothing to do with the pour of the beer, it had to do with a flat beer. Didn't feel the need to argue about $6, but I will never be back. beware shady busines, I give it maybe another year before it closes its doors due to bad management and not treating there customers with respect.

No complaints. Everything was good. Affordable pricing. Friendly staff! I ordered an adult drink (Hurricane, I think ?) it was great! I'll recommend this place!!*I ordered steak w/ mushrooms, loaded mashed potatoes, and a vegetable medley. I believe kids get a discount on certain days for dinner.
