This a a bad location in terms of KFC standards. The employees are friendly but the food quality is not on par with other locations. The location by the hospital is much better. I live closer to this store so I've tried it more than twice before writing this review. Often times the chicken leg bones are popped/broken and the food never seems to be hot. The bread is hard but the sides are fine. The food just seems old. Here's an idea, invest in the "hot chicken now" sign like Krispy Kreme!
I unfortunately don’t come to this location often because I’m not always on this side of town, but every time I stop in the workers are so nice! They’ve never messed up my order. The food is always fantastic and the store is always clean. They never disappoint ?

They give a great discount for ECU game days so I ordered an 8 piece bucket. It was six thighs, a wing and a leg. What in the world!! Original order was very greasy. Not happy. I asked for honey mustard and got a back of honey and hot sauce.

This establishment clearly does not honor the Colonel's legacy. For if he were still alive and in command, he would surely not see his work be defeated in battle for the consumer's taste buds. This "store" serves simulated fried chicken with a rubber core. The lack of flavor is reminiscent of eating 10-year-old drywall paneling. The biscuits are never cooked all the way through or cooked so much it's like they vacationed on the surface of the sun. I tried to review and enjoy this KFC with a sense of fairness and impartiality; however, this location would not let me. It will not let itself rise above anything but mediocrity. The staff meanders about like lost souls skirting the edge of the abyss. It's places and even times like these we would hope the Colonel could lead us. It's clear that he, unlike any current leadership would leave something behind so important to fall into lackluster hands. Long story short, your food is high key mid.
