Great drinks, food, and service! The atmosphere is upbeat and fun! If the weather is good they have a nice outdoor patio!

Normally my go to. I feel like you get alot for your buck. They are more expensive than other Mexican restaurants but it's worth it. Some times you don't know who your waiter is and some times, especially when busy, it can be awhile before a waiter acknowledges you. Over all a great place to go. They definitely have a great selection of drinks.

OMG! The best authentic food I've ever had. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection . I can't wait to go back!

Great Mexican spot in Greenville, the margarita shakes are awesome and so big for $10, like 3-4 drinks I each, I got the Hawaiieni and it was so tasty. I ordered the regular nachos and it was the perfect serving size for me. Server was great and helpful. Only downside was 1 meal came out 5min late, not major but awkward.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would but it forces you to choose 1. I ordered a vegetarian option as I have dietary restrictions and the order came with chicken. We tried to call the place to explain that the mezcalita bowl, listed under soups/salads was listed as vegetarian (in the actual description of how they posted it). They proceeded to tell us we were wrong and the manager, Jose simply said, unless you specify, then ALL dishes default to chicken (even though it has vegetarian in the actual description). In addition to being listed as vegetarian, it also gives a secondary option to ADD meat if you would like (it specifically says optional in this section). The manager proceeded to continue to tell us we were wrong. We resolved to just offering to pay for an entire new dish without chicken and they still would not accommodate our order and said we would have to find delivery people. I've posted a picture of how this is listed in their menu order. I will not be ordering from here again and am disgusted with how this was handled considering the item was listed as vegetarian, I have dietary restrictions, and we even offered to pay for an entire new order. Extremely disappointed in the management of this establishment and the overall lack of consideration for dietary needs/restrictions.

I Have gotten the same item from there for years , steak, shrimp with rice and corn masa tamal. Husband went there today after work and the staff said they don’t know what corn masa is. How are you a Mexican restaurant and don’t know what corn masa tamal is? Not to mention I’ve gotten it for the last two years from there! That’s all I ever get from there . Then when my husband showed them that corn masa is on their menu, they Talking about their menu changed & they don’t know what corn masa is! SMH! Won’t be back . Y’all don’t deserve our business after this !

My favorite mexican spot in Greenville. I am gonna say I dont like that they charge extra for chips and salsa but the foos is so good it makes up for it. If you order a dip or guac extra chips are free!

To start on a positive note, the food was hot. My meal was a little dry, but nothing to complain about. Our server, Kim, was extremely rude to me and my boyfriend. She would not look at us directly and rolled her eyes when we asked questions. She had an attitude from the beginning and it lasted throughout our meal. Our treatment at this establishment has turned us away for good.

My wife and I like to eat local; support small businesses here in Greenville. We decided to give La Rancherita a try. After waiting at the front desk for several minutes, I had to interrupt the hostess/wait staff and asked for a seat at the bar. It must have been a very important conversation! But, I just shrugged it off. As we were walking to our table, we were seated in an area outside the bar. I reminded our hostess that we wanted a seat at the bar. She said the bar area is closed. I looked at her and asked, why she didn't tell us before taking us to our table? She just shook her head and sighed heavily. So, we just sat down. During our dinner I watched how the hostess and wait staff perform their duties. Here's what was going on. The wait staff and hostess congregate at the reception desk to talk. Unfortunately, they turn their backs on new customers walking in the door. On three separate occasions, I observed customers stand in front of the desk for several minutes while five or more staff were taking to each other behind the desk. The hostess/wait staff didn't acknowledge new customers for several minutes (the new customers were obviously uncomfortable standing there). Other reviews on Yelp detail this same behavior. Where was the manager/owner? Very poor training of hostess/wait staff! Food was average, ordered the nachos. Very small portion for the price. Drinks, called shakers, were expensive. Taste was okay/average. The poor training regarding customer attentiveness/service is unacceptable to us. Lots of options in Greenville. We won't be back.

Aside from having to drive from Tarboro NC. because that location was closed due to NO STAFF... this location in Greenville was the next stop.. it was a little rocky to get seated but once we were sat.. the server came to the table and greeted us really quickly. Over all the food was amazing and the salsa was so good and the chips were seasoned just right.. ugh omg it was 10/10 I would most definitely eat here again.

I would rate this restaurant a solid 4 stars! The tacos here were amazing. I would say that they know how to marinade the el pastor tacos. The only bad experience about this restaurant is the seating. The booths and the dining area was cramped and the seats are way to close for comfort. I think that if they spaced out the booths a little but more this place would be a great establishment for experiencing Greenville’s own take of Mexican street food.

0 for 2. Worst service I've ever experienced without even sitting down. First time I stood in the waiting area for 15 minutes and no one asked me if I had been helped. Even had a family of four with no reservations walk in front of me where they were helped while they continued to ignore me. Second time We can in at 9:10 the hours stated they closed they closed at 9:30. I didn't realize it until after but they had just turned away a family of six before me because it was "late". When I asked for a table for two they never once acknowledged me but just started talking among themselves decided where or not they would allow me a table the price ledge to have diner. It was clear they were very put off by my preconceived and did not want to work anymore for the night. After a few uncomfortable minutes while they continued to weigh whether or not deserved to eat during their open hours my wife and I left. I will never be back.
