Menu was more sophisticated then I would have expected from a neighborhood bar. Looked very plain from the street and not much to say about interior decoration but it served the purpose. Food was very fresh and everything was handmade, including the chips.Staff was very friendly and maybe even a little too attentive.Would come back again

What a delightful surprise! We had time to kill and are not too familiar with the area, so we searched for a place to get a drink while killing time before meeting someone else for dinner. My wife and I opted to give Uncle Llew's a try for our anniversary and skip the steak and seafood places based on Tripadvisor reviews. I'm not one for writing reviews which says something about our dining experience. The service was fast and friendly throughout our meal. We started off with the BBQ brisket cheese fries.
