I had the Churchill, she had the Rachael. Both fantastic fresh pub sandwiches. Truly one of Hickory's hidden spots for a great sandwich and a cold beer. Friendly and helpful staff. Has the 'local watering hole' vibe and appearance.
Me and friends found this gem on yelp. Here from Charlotte we didn't know where to go. We had to visit due to John g's story like review. Sorry for the breakup John G. but it was because of you that we went to McGuire's! The service was slow at first, but after Sarah pur bartender got there it was better. An awesome find while visiting Hickory for a convention. This is my third year going to McGuires. The food is great, get the fries which aren't normal French fries but sliced fried potatoes.
