My absolute favorite place to have lunch in Hickory. The main draw for me is their buffet, which consists of 4 dishes and 2 soups. Each day the menu changes, so it's constantly a fresh experience. Every dish that I've tried there has been outstanding. If you are in Hickory around lunch time, you owe it to yourself to eat here, especially if you like variety, and their prices are stellar to boot. Best food and for the best price.
We just moved to town and was looking for somewhere that sold cuban sandwiches . my husband spoke to the owner and ordered cuband for us .we also told the owner to surprise us with a few other things off the menu. This is by far the BEST food in town!!! The prices are more than reasonable and you can tell the owner truly cares for his customers and business . The atmosphere was relaxing and nice, the service was excellent, but the food was truly spectacular. I had the Cubano Chicken which is a beautiful mixed green salad with grilled chicken fillets and a citrus vinaigrette. The whole experience was reminiscent of the carribbean.
