Windy City Grill (aka Homers) is a cozy little restaurant that sits on highway 127 in the Viewmont neighborhood of Hickory, NC. This is a must go to place when you are in town. They offer a variety of options or you can go for breakfast and get a livermush, egg, and cheese ? or you can go for lunch and get one of their famous cheeseburgers. Food and service were outstanding. It was a bit loud with the crowd and the drive thru but we enjoyed our breakfast and our conversation. Always a great spot for breakfast reminiscent of the good old days.

If you're looking for a great, home-cooking, budget-friendly place this is it! Breakfast was awesome, service was fantastic, and price can't be beat! I got 2 eggs, livermush, tater tots, and 2 pieces of toast plus coffee for $7, including tax!!!
