This was a birthday meal but it took so long to get our food that we decided to get it to go. We were told a 25 minute wait but it was actually over an hour. I went in a half hour later and was told they were bagging my food now. 45 minutes later I get my food after already waiting the half hour. I saw a bunch of to go containers so I thought that was the tartar sauce, cocktail sauce and coleslaw. No it was all tartar sauce and there were also Tartar sauce packets. The food was disgusting ! Fried in old grease and everything was super greasy even the french fries tasted like fish! Hush puppies there was 1 hush puppy I saw. No cocktail sauce because they don’t even know what cocktail sauce is!!! Two lunch special plates inedible cost $35 I ordered whiting with jumbo shrimp that were so salty I could feel my blood pressure rising. My daughter ordered Croaker that tasted like it croaked months ago! Their policy is to check your food before you leave the restaurant for any refunds! Thry neef to have TASTE THE FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RESTAURANT FOR A REFUND! Also they have a sign that says:THIS IS NOT FAST FOOD ITS GOOD FOOD! IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WAIT GO SOMEWHEREELSE! That should have been my warning sign but I went by the DISHONEST REVIEWS! THIS IS A TRUTHFUL REVIEW:IT IS NOT WORTH THE TIME OR MONEY! FIND A REAL SEAFOOD RESTAURANT WHERE THEY KNOW WHAT COCKTAIL SAUCE IS!!! I would have given it no stars because I was lied to from the cashier saying when she went in the back that they were bagging up my food then… LIES! Save yourself the aggravation and an upset stomach from nasty, old, food and go somewhere else! This BUSINESS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT QUALITY FOOD JUST ABOUT MONEY, WHICH SHOWS THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS!

The first time I ate from this rwaturqnt the food was excellent. I fell in love with the zucchini fries and dipping sauce. I was there about 2 wks ago and ordered Teo plates. I was told after I ordered and paid that they only had 1 croaker. I said, ok, it happens. I really really wanted croaker for my husband because he loves it. I wasn't happy with my food after I got home. I gave it to my husband. The fish is not the same taste and the zucchini fries were hard and dry. Seems like the cooks changed since the last time I ate there. It was too overcooked with no taste. I wasn't happy at all.

First the paper menu with no pricing is a turn off. Long wait times for the food thats just ok nothing to ride home about. The side order of Broccoli Casserole was nothing but a pile of Rice with little cheese and not even 1 piece of Broccoli it had literally 2 pieces in the whole bowl the size of a Raisin. Food comes out. Missing sides that was ordered . Have to flag someone down. 15 minutes later out comes side that was Missing and the Cornbread they brought out after we asked for it 2 times to eat with our meal was delivered when meal was over halfway through. And OH My Stars. It was nothing but a pile of Crumbs. The waitress says we hated to bring this out because its not the chefs best.Then comes the bill. Upcharge for bbq ribs. For a couple to eat was over $50 with waters to drink.

Placed an order. Was told it would be about 30 minutes. It took an hour. When I complained about the wait time and my order being wrong. After I paid 60.00. The management staff wanted to argue with me and called the police. It was the worst experience that I had, period. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Customer service is absolutely a zero.

A clean, neat, organized dining area with plenty of seating and TV’s to entertain you as you wait. The atmosphere as you enter gives you a warm Welcoming feel. Venice has a Wonderful and pleasant Personality that will stay with you for days. From the moment you walk in the restaurant, you will NOT regret it! My daughter and I read the reviews and decided to visit on today and we were NOT at all disappointed! Understand that you have to wait after ordering, WHY?? Let me tell you.. it is ALL MADE TO ORDER FRESH!!!! Yes Hot and Fresh !! I ordered the Whiting, Mac and Cheese, potato salad and Collards! The portions are hefty, I couldn’t STOP eating!! Everything was very seasoned and very well cooked as if you’re sitting at your mom’s kitchen table!! I also ordered chicken wings, spicy cabbage and yams to take home. My entire family gives this place a 10! I will be letting everyone know about this restaurant and I will always be a repeat customer. "Let me just say my husband and I dined in at Harbor One for the very first time, and the food was AMAZING! We ordered "I want it all "(fish, shrimp, wings, ff, baked beans)and it did not disappoint! I've NEVER eaten at ANY restaurant where I did not have to add extra seasoning or condiments of some sort, but here after the first bite we where all in lol NOTHING was needed.(Not even hot sauce on the fish or chicken wings)The waitress was soo sweet, and the chef "Well his food will make you want to "slap yo mama"(but you know better) May there be much continued sucess and blessings for this restaurant!!!
The food here is really good the best you are going to find in this area especially soul food Sundays. Everyone is nice and helpful! I will easily make that drive to this location for hot, fresh soul food!

Honestly, exceeded our expectations! We lucked up on the night they had collards and Mac N Cheese as side dishes. Welp, I had the whiting & shrimp combo that came with baked beans, fries & slaw. I added the COLLARDS & MAC N CHEESE to split... We loved every bite..... It was so delicious. Just a great meal period by a husband and wife.... Will absolutely go back
