If you're accustomed to the La Hacienda on Bridford in terms of ambience delete that. This place is a lot smaller, a lot less space, interior a bit dingy in comparison. However the food is still just as authentic. Menu a bit different but same great value and taste. Great location though with plenty of parking. To go is extremely fast. Ready in less than 15 mins on any given night.
LaHacienda was our go to Mexican restaurant for 20 years. They had good food and friendly service for a reasonable price. We expected the prices to increase. But the quality and service have decreased. Their cheese dip is thin liquid even when it is cold. We were told it was because of who heated it up. It appears watered down. After a few mediocre experiences, we have switched to Mi Pueblo. They offer a beautiful environment with welcoming, efficient service and quality food.
