“Excellent food and great service! I'm a vegetarian and found plenty of good options. Food was quick to arrive and was piping hot and delicious. The margarita I ordered was good (but not terribly strong). A great spot for lunch or dinner!”
“The food here is always fantastic. It can sometimes get very crowded and loud but that's just a sign of a good restaurant. The menus are marked with what is gluten free and the servers usually ask if there are any food allergies.Dietary restrictions: GF marked on menu”
“The staff at this place are lovely. This is a great frame shop and they have everything you could want. Don't mistake that. I most enjoyed dealing with the staff of this very quirky shop. They didn't just help me find the perfect frames, they could actually appreciate the art I wanted framed in the first place. It's a great experience.”
“Great atmosphere with outdoor seating, the interior has a wonderful old time feel to it. The servers all check on you, but on busy days you may have to flag them down and they will attend your needs right away. The food is great too. They rotate different breweries around the country and we had some brews from Hawaii and another location, they were very good. Definitely stop by if you’re in town. Ohio State Buckeyes are definitely welcome.”
“I’ve only ordered DoorDash so no review on the service or atmosphere. However the food was absolutely fantastic and is as classic as breakfast foods get. Bacon was crispy, hash was greasy but well seasoned and the omelette was worth every dollar(filling and delicious).”
“I have been to many Taco Bus restaurants throughout my town and this is the best Taco Bus ever the customer service is wonderful the food is the best I've ever eaten you would be crazy not to try this place I love this place and I have recommended this too many people please go and give them a try you will not be disappointed and they are super clean”
“Genuinely great burger! Super nice people! The place is definitely a hole in the wall and could use a good sprucing up, but their sanitation grade was a 96.5. I’ve seen fancy places with a lower score. What I liked about the burger is that although it was big and well done, it was very tender and juicy. You could tell they didn’t overwork the ground beef and the cashier said they get it from Angus Barn!Toppings were fresh and delicious and seasoned fries were greasy in the best of ways. You can eat in, but there’s not much ambiance and it’s a bit noisy. For sure will be going back to try more than a burger!”
“The food is delicious and consistent. Service is very personable and all the staff is very friendly and welcoming. If you need a suggestion, get the brisket!!!”
“We both got the burger topped with scallops. Just amazing, incredible! Salad was great. Really fresh ingredients! We only visit the area once a year, but this is our #1 stop when we do.”
“Jay's chicken is slapping, smacking, banging (aka amazing), and/ or whatever you want to call this DELICIOUSNESS! ?I live in Brier Creek, Raleigh, and I have passed this place over a dozen times heading back and forth to my father's house in the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA, and I finally had to stop..I was starving, had a craving for chicken, and it was a packed house, so that alone tells me there's gotta be something special there!Wooow!!!! This was the literally the best fried chicken I ever had and that says A LOT ming from someone who worked as a cook and Su-Chef for close to 15 years (I'm even writing my own cookbook right now).I slso used to manage a Bojangles close to 20 years ago, and I thought they had good chicken and biscuits, but now I'm thinking to myself... Bojangles, who?!?! Lol! ?Not only did I get an 8 piece (which was massive), but I also bought mashed potatoes, collards, and green beans! My wife doesn't eat pork due to religious reasons (I still do, lol), and they don't out pork in anything, and guess what?!? It still tastes like they put the ham hocks in there, lol!The food, staff, cooks, and customer service were impeccable! The best part is that they serve some of my other favorite dishes such as livers, gizzards, fried catfish, etc. and please don't hate fpr it but I'm from NY. NY ain't got nuttin on Jay's, my fellow Carolinians! If you haven't been, you're doing yourself and your palate an injustice! Crazily enough, my wife and I looked at each other and said, "As long as Jay's is open, we are driving 45+ min. just for chicken n' fixins!!! Lol ?My tastebuds are still dancing, just thinking about going back to get some more! Please make sure you tip these folks handsomely as they deserve every penny!Thank you, Jay's team!!!”
“Pueblo Viejo has been consistently good every time I’ve been there for years. The menu is pretty standard for an American Mexican restaurant, with a few unique and delicious additions, the service is always fast, and the prices are very reasonable. I was worried about how they’d do when they had to move out of their old, historic building and then got hit by the pandemic, but they weathered both gracefully. While I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve had there, I personally recommend the rellenos and birria tacos. The fajitas never disappoint either.”
“Don’t believe any bad reviews about the pizza here. Extremely authentic Neapolitan style—perfectly thin and charred crust—with fresh ingredients and creative flavor combinations. Slam dunk!”
“Stopped in on the way to Virginia from the airport. Service was wonderful and food was even better. They had a great wine and bourbon selection. Pasta is house made and delicious. Such a gem! Make reservations as they fill up ”
“The food was amazing. Got the Flautas and the Bistec with onions. The tortilla chips are flour instead of corn and so delicious. Highly recommend the guacamole. Got two of the green sauce tamales to go. They are huge and more meat than masa. Delicious with a nice kick! I didn't care for the tres leches but I'm kind of picky with how I like mine. Super friendly staff. Place has a great boho old school vibe.”
“We discovered this place a few months ago. What a great find! We have tried the papusas, tacos, burritos, beef short rib soup, and even a chocolate cake. Everything is excellent. The Short rib soup was amazing, and the choc cake was one of the best we’ve had.”
