Edit for the owners: The Triad is loaded with great breweries. Brown Truck, Foothills, Wise Man, Oden, Joymongers, etc. Original post: I should come here more often, and I haven’t ordered most of the menu, but the thing that matters most, the BBQ (pork if that needs clarifying), is top-notch. I went to Black Powder for the first time a few weeks ago and I had to go back today with a strong craving. The food is great, I have gotten the brisket sandwich twice now and it does not disappoint. The fries are absolutely legendary, I’d return just for the fries to be honest. Best fries from a bbq place hands down, their mac n cheese is great too. Pulled pork was phenomenal! Mac & cheese and cole slaw off the chart! Plate was so full I had a take-home plate. Parking was sparce so we parked a quick walk across the street to a cute church on Saturday. Great spot a-la-cart at the register. So many smoked options.
