I love Laughing Owl. I ordered Walnut Shrimp and they were out of walnuts so we substituted cashews and it was delicious. Large servings.Parking: There's always parking on Queen st, about half a block away.
This is one of the places where the outside does not match the inside. It was so tasteful done inside. The calamari was thick slices, so it was a bit chewy but was good with the chili dip. Flank struck, and peppers were tender and full of a variety of flavors. Making each bite great. The friend rice was a thumbs down. No taste. I was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with such delicious food in Kinston. They have a lot of options in the menu and it is so difficult to choose one because all of them look amazing. I ordered one thing but could try from the dishes of all my friends that ordered different things and OMG all the dishes were delicious ?. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good too. ? recommended. I’ll be back.
