“Just had breakfast there for the first time. Food was awesome. Best breakfast spot in town. Great service. Will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.”
“Order online and just like every other time I've called in it was ready before the pick up time. Love that. Not to mention it's so freaking delicious dude!!”
“Great selection of sandwiches, quesadillas, arepas and more with flavors from around the world. The service was great and food was very fresh. I had the Pancho Villa Torta and it was amazing. Flavor was on point and portion was huge. If they could do one thing, having French fries available would be nice.I highly recommend Papis and it will regularly appear in my lunch rotation. It's great and family owned.”
“For years, like 20, I've always gone to a certain BBQ chain while visiting Concord,NC. However, very recently, I've noticed they've been going down hill. So, last weekend, a friend of mine from SC took me to The Smoke Pit for dinner before we headed home from an all-day rather large car show. So, yes, we are very hungry. I was very impressed with this place. I had the pulled pork potato with potato salad (yes, double potato, for research purposes) as my side and this amazing watermelon sweet tea. It was great, the service was fast and friendly. This place checked all the boxes for a quick and great tasting bbq spot. We were lucky enough to get a table out on the patio to enjoy the sun and breeze. I highly recommend The Smoke Pit!!!”
“Had the Cuban old fashioned, which was ok but not really an old fashioned. Cubano was excellent, though maybe slightly salty, fries could be improved upon, or maybe something more reflective of the Cuban culture…. Cafe con leche was fantastic!”
“Has the cod platter, cod was freshly fried with good flavor and very tasty, I always like crinkle fries and the coleslaw tasted almost like my mother in law's which I always thought was the best I ever had. Wish there was a Culver's near me. I will go back again when I am in Sali, NCWheelchair accessibility: I am a senior citizen and saw other customers in wheelchairs so I assume there is handicap availability”
“It was our 1st time visiting, and WE LOVED IT!!!!!! Perfect spot for brunch!! Great vibe, great atmosphere and an overall great experience as a first timer!!!! Definitely coming back, SOON!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”
“Stopped here with my culinary brother and sister. Food was great. Workers were very helpful and neighborly. Pets allowed outsideI would recommend this restaurant/bakery, especially for your lunchtime. You won't regret it ?????”
“Great alternative to Starbucks and Dunkin. Nice little coffee shop. Nice and roomy. It had mostly coffee and very few pastry choices, but we visited after 7pm so they may have just had low inventory after a busy day. The server was very sweet and we drank out of Real cups (not paper). Perfect to meet friends/family and have desserts. (Would hope they would stock some more sweets to choose from).”
“B&K is always great! We have never had a bad drink or bad service. They were pretty busy when we visited today but everyone was friendly and the drinks came out quickly.”
“In a larger city, none of the surrounding tex mex spots in the area would survive, but this deliciously authentic taqueria would. Fresh, delicious tacos and kind staff. The Kannapolis area has been blessed with Amigo Taqueria.”
“Great service! Great tasting food! My server was extremely attentive and kind. Some of the dishes are more expensive than they are worth, but still taste amazing. If you go for breakfast get the chicken and waffles. It's an amazing dish and probably the best amount of food for the ”
“Best coffee shop I have ever been to and the cat lounge area makes it even better. All of the baristas are friendly, courteous and do their absolute best to ensure you are satisfied with your drinks, pastry items and lounge experience. The only criticism I can come up with is I wish the volume of the music was lower but that is strictly a personal preference.”
“I’m currently away from my North Carolina home for a month and all I can think every time I visit a coffee shop here is “Dang, this is SO not as good as Press & Porter.” and find myself disappointed! When I’m at home I frequent this place twice weekly (at LEAST) and the coffee is just FANTASTIC! It’s run with such care and you always get the friendliest service. I miss their mocha latte and their cinnamon bun cold brew… you best bet as soon as I make it home, this is going to be my first stop again! Love ya Press & Porter!Dietary restrictions: Lots of lactose free options for alternative milks!”
“i absolutely love b&k tea cafe! they are the most fair option when it comes to getting boba, a small drink cost me around $6! (for comparison, the boba shop in concord mills cost around $11). they also have super cute plushies, shirts, stickers, keychains and snacks to buy as well! i get a thai tea with tapioca boba everytime! 10/10 this is my favorite spot to get boba in concord :)”
“The absolute best coffee and latte shop in the Charlotte area! It is better than the Huntersville location as well. Great freshly-roasted beans, great craft lattes, great customer service. We come here every Saturday to get our special lattes and i look forward to it all week! They also sell some fresh bakery items, which are excellent as well.Vegetarian options: There is no meat in coffee-obviously; but for vegans, I’ve seen some options in their bakery items. Obviously a latte can be made with non-dairy milks.Dietary restrictions: There are non-dairy options such as almond milkKid-friendliness: My daughters love their excellent kids’ hot chocolate! It’s a perfect amount for them, and never too hot.”
“I have loved everything I've tried here. You can't go wrong with Salty Caper Pizza! Tried the Sgabei & it's amazing! We have to have some every time we're ”
“Our family of four came into downtown Salisbury to attend the Nutcracker performance at Catawba College. We do not live locally so we didn't prepare for the demand on local restaurants that evening. Without reservations, we were unable to be seated at two other nearby restaurants. My husband walked into Carpe Vinum and despite having no reservations and a quick timeline (45 minutes) they were able to seat us at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant and accommodating. Through her service and the kitchen's quick response, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and never felt rushed. My daughters loved their espresso martini and aperol spritz. Between the four of us, we enjoyed a grilled wedge salad, a caesar salad, lobster bisque, sliders, tuna bites and fried shrimp. It was all wonderful! Thank you again for a great dinner and the hospitality. We will be back!”
“When your tired of the fast food norm.....like I am I try hole in the wall spots all the time and this one, was different. Small quick and easy menu, reminds me of in and out.....and the service and atmosphere are great. Staff is welcoming and the historic feel of the place brings you a small town feel. I got the hotdog and cheeseburger all the way......fast service and it's done right in front of you. I would have preferred more of a seer on the burgers and a little more snap on the dog......reminds me of a meatball/pulled beef formed into a patty. Little seasoning would also help with the bland flavor, but overall I would rate the overall experience a 7.2 out of 10.”
“Fresh Hot Food. Nice laid back atmosphere. Very clean especially restroom.Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Parking spot available in front of restaurant. Bathroom very spacious as well.”
“You know, for a place named Breakfasttime you'd think it would be a joke but in fact they actually serve delicious breakfast! All the time! Like, it's breakfast time...ALL the time! And it's delicious!”
“We stopped by for dinner tonight. The food was so good! A nice twist on Mexican. Chips and cheese were a bit spicy, but maybe a 2 on a scale of 1-10. The selection isn't large, but there are a variety of choices. We had the poblano chili with cheese and chicken and the beef with peppers and onions. Beans had a slight smoky flavor and were tender. Both dishes are keepers. There are couple others I'd have eaten too. Service was fast, but not too fast so I knew they were actually cooking. Casual spot for an easy meal. Give them a try!!”
“Tried a few drinks from here today. I tried hugs drink it was good. My wife had the mammas stuff or something along those lines. It too was good. Kids tried cherry chapstick and liked it. The other flavor I dont remember offhand.”
“We absolutely love the Grove Cartel. They have a wonderful atmosphere, staff, food and beverages. We go routinely to either eat upstairs or sit and relax downstairs. They often times have live music, music bingo, and other activities to involve the community. A definite must try!!! You will not be disappointed!!”
“We have lived in the Charlotte area for about 2 years, we have tried a lot of breweries in the area but Southern Strain is BY FAR our favorite!!! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. But best of all, their beers are SO good! The addition of The Eatery has just topped it all off with amazing food! We always bring our out of town friends to Southern Strain!!!”
“We ate at Gianni's last night and I had the best meal I've eaten so far this year (and I've eaten at some great places, including the Capital Grille!). The Chicken Francais at Gianni's is out-of-this-world delicious. And we were glad to be able to visit their cozy, historic downtown location before the move to Gibson Mills later this month. It's a shame that the city of Concord is laying our once thriving downtown businesses to waste with their tortuously slow road project, but we look forward to trying out Gianni's new location soon.”
“i visited hummingbird jamaican restaurant yesterday. babyyyyyyyy, their food is EVERYTHING. i got their vegan, rasta pasta dish and it’s so flavorful. it was so creamy and full of so much seasoning, when i took a bite it felt like the pasta was “falling off the bone.” ? does that make sense? lol, i hope that painted the picture i needed y’all to see. this is a cooked dish and not cold pasta, think of in the alfredo category but caribbean seasonings. it’s not a vegan restaurant but they have so many amazing options. one of the owners, mike, is a very nice and personable brotha and him and his wife also has a non-profit that helps the homeless and those who were incarcerated in a tremendous way in the city. they have a couple that’s from jamaica cooking the food with their personal recipes, so you KNOW the food is authentic. ?”
“Love the idea of a coffee shop in a funeral home, great way to celebrate life. I had the Grave Digger and the Mad Hatter and enjoyed them both! Chocolate chip cookie was great and the barista was very friendly”
“Downtown Concord NC may be under construction, but Not Just Franks is still going strong! Delicious food, friendly service and a clean atmosphere. A must do when you're exploring what this up and coming little town has to offer. So much is changing and it's comforting to have this stable favorite!! You simply must go!”
“You have to try this Coffee Shop!!! Fresh baked items with GF options. The coffee is soooooo GOOD! My fav...Lemon Lavendar Latte. For a unique refresher you must try the Patterson (2nd fav) or United.”
