I was here on a trip and could not believe my eyes when I saw a Godfathers pizza!! The last time I saw one was as a kid in IL in the late 90's. My parents loved going there so I thought I'd surprise them with a pizza from there since it had been ages. I had a 5 hour drive home and didn't want to the pizza to get nasty. The lady that took my order was super nice and had the kitchen par bake it so we could finish cooking it when I got home later that night. It was absolutely delicious.
I am a fan of Godfathers pizza and have been going since I was a little girl and then they closed! I’m originally from Ohio and when I say that was the best pizza around! The slices were huge and the crust was crispy and buttery. For some reason I don’t get that anymore as if the recipe has been changed. However some locations still taste the same! If you are like us and have loved Godfathers Pizza well this is a Great find. From where we live a Godfathers Pizza is 4 hours away. My husband found this restaurant only about an hour and a half from our house. You walk in order your favorite pizza at the counter. Then get your drink cup and head to the dining room where you can find Coke product drinks, fill your cup and find a seat to wait for your delicious pizza.
