“This is a great place! I have never had El Salvador food. It was delicious and we will be back for sure! We ordered a steak burrito and a chicken burrito. They came with rice and salad with cucumbers, tomatoes and great dressing. The staff was very friendly. I can't believe how many times I have driven by this place and never tried it. ?”
“First time coming in I ordered 2 drinks while I was in and took one to go. Let's just say it obviously wasn't the last time I came to the location for a very well crafted beverage.Oh and they had my currently favorite Rum, Diplomatico”
“First time here. What a surprise. On the surface, it seems to be a typical old downtown diner with typical diner food, but...it's not. Every item is unique and just a notch above what you would expect. Three bean salad, yep, looks like a typical 3 bean salad, but OMG, amazing, no idea what's in it, aged basalmic vinegar? Savory, not too sweet, just amazing. And every side dish was that same OMG surprise. Best rueben I've had in the south. Swiss cheese is not overpowered by the kraut and dressing, Marble rye that tasts like rye and corned beef that stands on its own, more flavor than salt. Cheese cake, yes, it is the real deal special, NYC. Take home a whole pie kind of thing. Even meet the owners, Bruce and Barbara. I'm so appreciative that they have been blessing us with their gifts of service for so many years.”
“Kevin was an awesome server! The food was delicious, thank you chefs! I highly enjoyed the instrumental music playing lightly through the restaurant. Everything was spot clean including the bathrooms! Both the Ramen and Pho are excellent, the milk teas are super good and the honeydew smoothie is to die for!!! Thank you Sakura!!”
“Great food with exceptional service. The lamb gyro is amazing and keeps me coming back every week. I always hear other guests order burgers, so they must be good also.”
“The best Mexican restaurant in McDowell & Burke Co! Very affordable for those on a budget. The employees are so nice and friendly! They do get busy and seating can be hard to get when real busy. My favorite dish is the ACP! Food is always fresh and tasty and they have the best salsa bar! My go to place for Mexican cuisine!”
“Absolutely great BBQ. Was always our go to place but since moving into the new location, their baked beans are so spicy we can't eat them. I bragged on them, because they were the best I had ever had. I recommended them to family that had never been there. The kids could not eat them. I couldn't or 3 other adults. I really wish they'd go back to the other recipe. They were smoky, had shreds of BBQ in them. They were the best. We can't order them anymore. Otherwise, food is great.”
“Wonderful place and wonderful food! Pizza was great and the salad was fantastic! The owners were one of a kind and treated us so well, never expected to have such an experience in a small town in North Carolina! If you're in Marion, which will be again one day, this is a must-stop. Keep it going guys!”
“So I consider myself a lover of all things spicy, and I always used to laugh at other people who'd tear up eating a pepper. I have completely and totally been humbled. Their hot sauce literally burned me down until I was reborn from the ashes. 10/10 experience.”
“Best place to eat breakfast ever. Service is amazing. Small and limited parking but after eating here, I would walk & stand in line in the rain just to get to eat here.”
“If you've tried mead and don't like it, you have to check this out. It'll change your opinion guaranteed!! No meadery can compare. Everything is aged 3+ years, is incredibly smooth and has the best flavor. I enjoyed every single one on the menu.”
“Never ate here before until that day. The food is delicious. The staff are kind and speak English also. Great price. Wish it was open 7 days a week. It's only open on Saturday and Sunday. We have ate Mexican food at different places and this place has the best tasting we have had.”
“The food and prices are great but go with some patience because the service is either short staffed or just slow in general. The gal that was there was friendly and did everything with a smile I just think she needed some help with half the dining room full and she was the only one we saw working.”
“We arrived later, not realizing what time they close.. they were so sweet!Shoutout to Frank for letting us stayThe blonde girl was so sweet and the food was so good! I will be back for ”
“Wow. Unusually good sandwiches. Definitely not the sort of thing I could make myself. Slightly pricier than your cheapest options around but very much worth it. Will be going back.”
