“This location is definitely a hidden gem!! My partner and I were seated right away and the staff was so nice and friendly! I had the chicken and waffles and my partner had the shrimp and grits. The chicken and waffles came with a homemade strawberry butter and the sweet and spicy sauce on the side for the chicken 10/10 highly recommend!! The shrimp and grits were cooked perfectly nice and cream and just the perfect amount of seasoning! I highly recommend this location giving them a 10/10 The manager even come over to the table and ask if we needed anything and how was the meal. Service with outstanding food is what consumers want! Great job and hats off to the cooks! Definitely got 5 ⭐️ from me!!!!!!!“

“Such a cute place! Friendly staff and customers. The flatbreads were very good. They have a decent wine selection you can get by the glass (they were on the drier side). Also, a few local beers on tap and a selection of chilled beer, room temp wine, and chilled wine available for purchase. We definitely will be back.“
“Me and my parents go to this restaurant regularly almost every Sunday and it is perfect every time. The waitresses are very kind and attentive, and the food is always fresh. I will say that my 4 stars come from the place, and the people, but the food is only 3.5. Diner environment, very cool. “Stopped in for lunch and while it was busy, seating was available. They do a Sunday menu for popular items so those are the quickest however we waited no time for our food. Grilled ham and cheese with veg soup for him and Reuben with crinkle fries for me. Both sandwiches were good and buttery. Reuben had dressing on the side as a dipping sauce however I could appreciate the approach. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and warm. Definitely will be going back.“

I had the fried squash and green beans with cornbread and my husband had the chicken fried steak. Everything was wonderful. The menu had a great variety and the staff was so nice. I was happy that you were still providing a fresh meal that late in the evening (because some restaurants microwave food), and I still had enough to take to work the next day (but wished I had more), and still tasted delicious. Your staff, especially the desk staffer that took my order, were wonderful to interact with (especially when you just want to go home, eat, do no exercise, and sleep). “My favorite restaurant in the area from the first visit in 2014. I don't know how possible not to get a complete satisfaction here. We missed 3 years since covid, but the creativity of chef Adam has never changed. The food was excellent last night for my birthday celebration. The only wish is the servants are trained better.“
“We traveled to Charlotte today for family time and found this restaurant near our destination. We got to town early and decided to eat. I got the bruschetta and mozzarella sticks. The bruschetta was on bread that was very soft in the center with crispy edges. It was perfect. Huge slice of mozzarella, which was made in house. On top of that was the diced tomato glazed with balsamic. The mozzarella sticks were crispy. They gave me a basket of complementary garlic knots, which were absolutely amazing with homemade marinara sauce. They have a large selection of beer, wine and liquor with 18 local drafts on tap. The staff was super kind and brought me a box for my leftovers with smaller containers for the sauces. This place is super nice inside with several televisions and music. The bar area is my favorite. Two appetizers and three beers with the knots was only $40 bucks! Well worth the stop.“

“I sometimes avoid a place if it looks really crowded, but not only is this place worth it, they always seem to get us in faster than I would think possible. The Steak is great and Country fried Chicken is a favorite also. Can't forget about the Yeast Rolls!“

“I haven't eaten in a Captain Dee's this nice since I was a kid in 2010. Most Captain Dee's seem run down now with mediocre service and low quality food. This location was ANYTHING BUT THAT. I was greeted by Latosha who took my order. She was so friendly and sweet for the job she works, I've never had such a wonderful experience at a Captain Dee's with that kind of service. Aside from her beautiful spirit, my food was DELICIOUS. everything was piping hot and super fresh! I had the blackened tilapia with rice, green beans and steamed broccoli. I will only go to this Captain Dee's location and I highly recommend it. Please give Latosha a raise.“

The occasional slightly over cooked steak (still within an acceptable range of doneness) always available seating in a reasonable amount of time.Takeout during covid was exceptional with the exception of a single order mixup. Haven't used the takeout since 2021-2.“

The bathroom was clean, and you don't see that often at other restaurants. Now I have to honestly say the Mamosa was just Orange juice. But we didn't complain due to the good service we had overall.“

The traditional burger was simple yet delicious, prepared exactly to my liking and presented beautifully. Paired with a baked sweet potato, it was a delightful meal. The smash burger, served with CB7 sauce and grilled onions, was equally impressive. The presentation, appropriately wrapped in aluminum foil, added to the experience.
