“It's a small little location hiding off in a plaza right off 74. It caught my eye one day, so I had to stop by and check this joint out. When entering, you are welcomed by the music of Columbia and the delicious smell of latin cooking. They offer a wide variety of delicious empanadas. You have a choice of either corn or whole flour empanadas with different fillings. I LOVE the corn maiz pollo empanadas. They pair wonderfully with their homemade sauces. I highly recommend that when you're traveling around the Charlotte area to stop by and get you an empanada to go go!“
“Stopped in for a Philly Cheesesteak and after looking at the menu purchased a large "Black n Blue" Cheesesteak. Positively delicious. Everything was great about it ... the wheat roll was warm and tasty, the steak was tender and tasty without any grill fried taste to it, and the onions and peppers were tasty as well.We appreciated that the owner or manager immediately told us about a 15% discount coupon and showed us how to use it when ordering.What a great find in our own neighborhood !“

“I haven't eaten in a Captain Dee's this nice since I was a kid in 2010. Most Captain Dee's seem run down now with mediocre service and low quality food. This location was ANYTHING BUT THAT. I was greeted by Latosha who took my order. She was so friendly and sweet for the job she works, I've never had such a wonderful experience at a Captain Dee's with that kind of service. Aside from her beautiful spirit, my food was DELICIOUS. everything was piping hot and super fresh! I had the blackened tilapia with rice, green beans and steamed broccoli. I will only go to this Captain Dee's location and I highly recommend it. Please give Latosha a raise.“
“You need to hire people that understand it's fast food and we're trying to get through quickly. It's overrated food especially for the weight that you must endure in the Drive-Thru it's ridiculous. I waited this morning for three full minutes in the Drive-Thru to be told just a moment ma'am and the next person that pulled up in the second row was handled immediately do better Chick-fil-A!“
“Better than the one on Independence, this spot has a diner vibe. Very fresh ingredients, and friendly people. I will say that my 4 stars come from the place, and the people, but the food is only 3.5. Diner environment, very cool. Sundrop...cool. 4.5 stars Hot, friendly, and fresh, even if not amazing food...The dogs and the double burger are solid. I will be back because of the feel, and I will enjoy the food because it's hot and solid.“
