What a lucky find!! This pub is a great place to grab a meal, have a meeting, and enjoy the environment. The seating is spacious and the staff are very attentive. I had a plentiful meal for lunch and with all the selections, I’m sure I’ll be back to try other selections. There is indoor and outdoor seating and they are right in the heart of downtown Matthews so you can definitely make an afternoon of all that is close by. I was super pumped to dine at this place! I drove half an hour here right after work, and when I walked in, everyone just gave me the eye, even the bartender. I patiently waited, and then this girl popped out from the back and told me I had about 20 minutes left to place my order. I mentioned the current time and that Google showed they close at 11 pm. We visited when Mathews had one of its most beautiful days of the years. The weather was very nice for sitting outside. The beer was great. Service was wonderful ( miss Annabeth). We tried a few different draft beer flavors and were happy with all. Will come back when there's no rain or hot days.
