This restaurant is a typical 'down home' style - with lots of regulars who are known by the waitstaff. Daily specials are posted outside - as well as a broad variety of regular menu offerings. From old-fashioned cooking to some updated options - the food does not disappoint. Though atmosphere is lacking, the breakfasts and dinners, alike, are worth the trip.
Stopped in Sunday for a quick lunch, few folks seated with room to spare, server seated us right away and took drink order. Placed food and was quickly delivered to table. The burger had a great coal-cooked flavor, unique to the area, with an excellent bun and good patty. Loved to have fried okra as a side besides the standard fries. Tuna melt was also good. Great value that is worth your trip!

Very good hamburgers and hotdogs. Hot dog slaw and Toasted Bun reminded me of the type we used to get on eckerd's hot dogs years ago. Coke float in milkshake were also very good.
