Of course the food is good seasoned well and is delicious when hot. But you can’t choose 2 of the same sides, which sucks. I don’t think it’s worth the price they are asking because once you order your fish and add sides you’re looking at a 20 dollar plate. Service was a little rude as well. We found this little gem while visiting the nearby college. It sits on a corner, behind an old, now closed down gas station in Maxton. It is barely recognizable but on the inside it's two very hard working Asian mom and pop. The fish was absolutely delicious and fresh. The hush puppies were soft and perfectly made. The price for a plate with three sides was $13.99 well worth it. Definitely will visit here again.

These folks can fry some seafood! I love when I’m working in Maxton. However, they are only opened Wednesday-Saturday and take cash only. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, with a small parking lot. But there are several tables to offer dine-in.The owners are a couple, as previous reviews mentioned don’t engaged in chit chat with customers but I have not had problems placing my orders when I arrive.
