“This is my favorite McDonald's, they are always so nice and get our order correct everytime. I will drive pass other McDonald's just to go to this one.”
“Service was best part. The hot chocolate machine was out and she fixed it immediately. She was very pleasant and courteous. This was December 26 at approximately 1015 am I didn't catch her name but she deserves kudos for going above and beyond.”
“Maria and Andrea provided an excellent service. They prepared the food for my family like pros. Fast service, well cooked, very amicable and attentive. Food was on point . Famiky like kings traveling for the Holidays can feel comfortable to stop by.”
“Your waiting to be served and no one is in line ,they will look your way and say nothing front line employees hanging around drive thru, store dirty especially fry station old ? fries surrounding fry station saw employee using hands just nasty , I used to manage a store nothing like the ”
“Great atmosphere service and food. Fist time trying Senegalese dishes and it didn't disappoint. I was on a quick trip from nyc and this a spot worth trying! I'd recommend the djolof rice!!!”
“This is the hidden gem of ramen place. We haven't tried the BBQ yet but we will definitely come back for it next time.As for ramen, it's by far one of the best broth in GSO. We ordered tonkotau ramen and tantan ramen. Both broth were rich and flavorful. Tantan was a bit spicy but not like Thai food spicy so if you love some spice you'd love it.There are 4 pieces of chashu pork we love the thick cut of them and they are super tender. The ramen noodles are soft but not squishy which is perfect. The boiled egg was well marinated in soy sauce and cooked well enough it's still a bit runny. The takoyaki tasted good but I eish they out the kotsu sauce on it instead of mayo so it could give the authentic taste of takoyaki. The cabbage could have been sliced thinner but to me I really don't mind it.Most importantly, it's super cheap compared to the value of the food. If we hadn't ordered takoyaki this meal for 2 would have been under $25 which is like $12 per person. You won't be able to find this price in GSO for a bowl of ramen anymore. The owners and staff were very attentive everyone constantly came to us and ask if we needed anything else as well as refilling my water frequently. Plus, the restroom was super clean. I've never seen any restaurants clean their restrooms like over here. I personally believe that if restroom is clean that also means their kitchen is also clean. That tells already how they are serious about food safety.”
“The food, the atmosphere, the drinks, all were beyond expectations. The service we received, from talking with one of the owners - who was behind the bar making the hand-crafted cocktails- to the food, were absolutely wonderful. You walk in to a welcoming and friendly setting with a personal feel, that leaves you with the desire to come back every weekend. These guys not only put an immense amount of thought into their menu, but also their delivery of service. P”
“This place is chic and is the perfect place to add a bit of sophistication to your traditional coffee date. Not only is the coffee good but the pastries are too. You cannot go wrong with their croissants! The baristas are well-dressed and courteous. Truly a class act!”
“The 24 inch pizza was large enough to feed all the kids, and the new marinara sauce is good enough to drink from a cup. Maria was proud of her sauce recipe, and lovely to speak with. Next time we will try the pasta.”
“I was looking to get Mediterranean food in Greensboro and came across Jerusalem market. The gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly, and gave some suggestions as to what to order.I went with the lamb kebab plate with hummus and baba ghanoush. While the lamb looked promising unfortunately it was chewy. The hummus and the baba ghanoush were good. Nothing mind blowing but solid. The desserts were the real standouts. I tried the walnut and pistachio baklava. Both were outstanding. Not overly sweet but both were nutty and you could see each layer.I’m hoping it was an off night and am willing to give them another shot.”
“Yesterday was my 1st time visiting Black Magnolia and let me say that I was blown away! I got the Classic Cinnamon Roll and the Peach Bourbon Roll, both were delicious. At the recommendation of another patron in the store, I also bought the Mushroon Gruyere Brioche Toast, I had it later at home with a side of bacon, eggs, and sliced tomatoes, it, too, was mouthwatering. Thanks and shout out to my boo for recommending that I try this spot out. The shop is tiny, but the flavors are HUGE!!!”
“This Irish-themed restaurant has good service, indoor and outdoor seating, and some tasty food choices. I enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage; my wife's burger was good, though not quite great; and our fried Brussels sprouts appetizer was the star of the show. There is a nice selection of wine, beer, mixed drinks, and whiskey.”
“I've now had some really good experiences with authentic Peruvian food in the past few months. The cuisine at Inka checked the boxes and was delicious! The deserts deserve a mention of their own. Nice variety and as strong as you will find in a Peruvian restaurant. The service was strong up front, then absent after the meals were dropped with no check in. This is the reason a one star was dropped and I hate that. The table shared a fried seafood appetizer which was marvelous! I had the Tauco Tauco seafood which was tasty. Portion size adequate, but a few more shrimp would have been perfect. The Pico Sour was totally yum! I was at a table of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. The desserts however were the hero with most offering authentic and made in-house. Especially enjoyed was the Chocolucama served in a jar with an impressive amount of Lucama. The house coffee was super! The bill was processed with no issue. The value was outstanding! There are a few Inka Grill's in Virginia with the original in Roanoke. A 4 star with deduction for no follow up after entrees were dropped. I would 100% return.”
“Coffee shops are my jam. Thrive is such a cute and quaint place I'm so glad I stopped by. THe barista was very sweet and gave great recommendations. The space was open and full of natural light. I love the plants and cozy vibe. Will definitely be back the next time I stop through downtown Greensboro.”
“My friend and I had brunch at Borough Coffee and we LOVED IT!! The service was superb, the surroundings and outdoor area was fantastic. Also the coffee and food was very good as well. 10/10 recommended!”
“Chez Genese is the cutest! The overall vibe of the restaurant is quaint and comforting, and the cute flowers and plants that decorate the restaurant are an added touch. Service took a bit, but the servers were very friendly. Food was exquisite! The rosemary potatoes are a must try!Vegetarian options: There was a good selection of foods for me to choose from as a vegetarian. Not sure if the same is true for any vegan patrons, however.”
“We love it here. Celebrating a special occasion or looking to grab a good bite before a Grasshoppers game, this place has it all. Fancy food, eccentric cocktails wrapped up in a modern but comforting atmosphere makes this a must try spot for ”
“Visited for the first time today for the latte flight, and the vibe and space was even better than we expected. So many varied, cozy seating options. Staff was super friendly. The mocha dreams muffin was perfect and moist. And we didn’t expect the latte flight to be set flavors. We thought it would be build-your-own situation, but we were really pleased with the selection! Rosemary brown sugar was our favorite. Will definitely be back often!”
“Let me first say that any criticism you are receiving regarding the kids you have working for you is too harsh in my opinion. We’ve all had “that first job”. Not every 16-17 year old starting out will have incredible customer service skills. I know I didn’t! I did however, get better as I got older. Learning how to read people and develop that sensitivity takes time.I’ve also learned that when dealing with people in the service industry a smile and an energetic, “How ya doing?” can be highly effective at bringing out a similar response. Finally, I can’t fathom how a successful snow cone business can operate out of a brick and mortar building (even using teens as staff)! Try to run that place with experienced adults demanding $15+ hr. and see how successful you’ll be.Come on folks. It’s a snow cone!A delicious snow cone! I will be back! Thank you!”
“I absolutely loved my experience. This place is 100% recommended. The server Hilder Vilnor is amazing and the atmosphere is cool. Trust. Come check it out for yourself.”
“It was my first time here and I loved it. It was relaxing inside and smelled good. They have a lot of teas and other things as well. I got throat and lung tea, Sahara sunset, and a sample of lavender rose vanilla. I will definitely be back. Everyone was helpful and friendly.”
“My seven year old daughter attended one of the baking classes recently and absolutely loved it ? She got to experience the basics of baking and had a blast with the other kids. Definitely would recommend if your child has any interest in baking or making sweet treats.”
“Relaxing and low-key, but with a sophisticated menu. Food preparation was superb. I had the duck confit with tender petite dumplings. We also overindulged in the warm bread and butter! Excellent friendly service.”
“Really nice restaurant (I appreciate the football memorabilia) and really delicious pizza. The only complaint is that some of the pizza is a little bit overpriced for what it is.”
“Visited Greensboro last month and just realized we'd forgotten to review Cheesecakes by Alex. We got two flavored cheesecake slices to go. Both were delicious and well worth the price per slice (which was less than many other specialty shops). Hope to pass through Greensboro again to try more flavors.”
“Such a cozy venue. I’ve been here many times to perform and to be an audience member. The staff is always super friendly, and the music sounds great. They seriously have some of the best sound in North Carolina. The Flat Iron is far one of the best live music venues in Greensboro!”
“Amazing experience! Located right on a strip mall but incredibly classy. An eclectic menu with almost everything and so many options. A great wine selection and the service was perfect. Highly recommend the pimento cheese and sausage dip; it is delicious. The scallops mornay dish was great as well, very savory.”
“I ordered a tank cake for my promotion ceremony and DeeDee absolutely knocked it out of the park!!! It was so well done and exceptionally detailed I didnt even want to cut into the cake. Cookies & Cream filling was absolutely delicious and I was able to feed about 25 people. I also ordred mini cupcakes on the side and they were amazing. I could not have asked for a better cake. Thank you DeeDee!!!!”
“I love to support local. The coffee was a good quality coffee and the pastries were delicious. Service was excellent. My only suggestion is to decorate a bit more to make it more inviting and relaxing. Please support this business!”
“The staff here are awesome with a warm family friendly atmosphere. I always get the house special or the Jumbo slice. These guys have one of the best pies in town.”
