“Charlotte isn't known for the best Chinese food. I will say this was a pleasant surprise. We did the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The food was good, service was great! I would definitely recommend trying it!”

“Went with my daughter. I had an Old Fashioned and an arepa. Both were awesome!! Comfy ambiance with a great patio. My daughter had blonde ale and a canal and she raved and raved about the canal. I had a bite and it was fantastic. This is not your typical 'bar food'. Authentic!!!”

“I adore this eclectic little gem in Mint Hill, NC! The Gluten Free Waffles with egg or chicken salads are my go-to for lunch! This place is also a hub for non-profits, being a non-profit organization that helps the community by providing a range of needs! There's a tiny food closet on the porch, which they try to keep full of allergy-friendly foods as well as toiletry items.”

“Nice spot in the middle of little Mint Hill. Outside seating has heat and fans as needed. Because of the proximity to the road it can be a little loud but if you know that going in, it's not really a problem. We always bring our pup so we have never sat inside but it does have a nice vibe. Service is always good and food is good as well. A large selection of wine so I feel certain that you will find something you like.....Unless you don't drink wine;-)”

“Friendly staff the double cheeseburger was fantastic of course with fries and onion rings. Definitely will be going back for one of the best burgers around Charlotte. It has become my Friday lunch spot.”

“I love the Buffalo Chicken sandwich here, always seasoned to perfection and so juicy with a hint of spicy. Not overbearing or have you sweating from your meal. I added (pickles, bacon and permento cheese) to it. I can honestly say this been the best buffalo chicken sandwich IMO??? My fries were a bit salty and I’ll make sure to not have any?‍? The atmosphere is typical bar/grub spot, tucked in a nice little plaza area. If in the area check them out, nothing fancy shmancy? Good ol bar-ish grub, but a small town vibe to it!”

“Hard to find good Mexican food in South Charlotte but this place is a good one. Grew up in CA so had plenty of the real deal. This places comes very close. Better than any other I've tried in the area. Good food, nice friendly staff and fair prices.”

“Wayback has always been a great place to visit in Mint Hill for food. While there are many great options in town, very little beats a burger and fries from here. Pricing is around $15 for a burger, side, and drink. Service is relatively quick, and everyone is helpful and welcoming (Shoutout Lisa). The interior is small, which does make seating difficult during busy hours, but that’s only when the weather doesn’t permit sitting outside on the patio.Vegetarian options: The menu does have non-meat options for those who want them. They offer the gardenburger, which is plant based burger prepared in the fryer. They also offer Impossible burgers, which are plant based and grilled like a normal burger. They also have Caesar salad, for those who want that.”

“Very decent food, very consistent quality. Store not really set up for dine-in, thus my low atmosphere score. I always get the house Lo Mein, quart size (L). It tastes even better cold the next day.”

“My husband and I just moved to the area and we love pizza. We saw this place one day while we were out and about on a weekend. I grabbed a menu because I wanted to see what they had and how much the prices are. Well, my husband and I chose finally to go there last week and it safe to say I wasn’t disappointed. The food was incredible. You got a lot for your money and the staff were amazing, I was very happy and I love that this amazing pizza place is right down the road from my home. Their food is fresh and it taste great.”
