2.5 stars rounds up to 3 right? The waitress told her that this restaurant was one of only two authentic Mexican restaurants in Monroe. If authentic she means close to old Mexico than I concur. I'm not sure that means better though. I think a restaurant can be authentic but delicious as well. Delicious this place was not. One of the best and most authentic Mexican restaurants that monroe has. Could definitely tweak with the menu a little bit, as well as wait staff. But all considered, delicious and worth the money to eat here. Definitely recommend the pollo fundido and the pollo mole meal.
