“Circa 81 just may be my new favorite restaurant in the area.Highlights:Tapas menu selection is diverse.Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared.Service was professional. (Jared was our waiter).Appropriately priced.Best dish we ordered was the Garlic & Shrimp. It was divine! The garlic sauce was rich & velvety while the shrimp were expertly cleaned & prepared and cooked to perfection!Everything we ordered was great.As for the service, everyone (from the hostess, to the manager) was friendly and attentive. Even showing initiative when something was needed. You can tell that this restaurant is extremely well run & that the people who make this delicious food take pride in what they are doing.Decor is a bit dated & could use an update. Avoid the booth seating to the right when you walk in the front door. It's at a slightly downward slope so I felt like I was slipping out of my seat for the entire meal.Otherwise all was perfect and we'll definitely be back!”

“I've been eating breakfast here since I was a child every time I come to Morehead City. Food has always been great. Waitresses are always cheerful and friendly. I've never had to ask for a refill. They're always on top of it.IMO Best breakfast in MHC.Parking: Limited parking in front, but they do have additional parking behind the building as well.”

Willing to accommodate larger groups, families, work related meetings/event, by even a last minute walk-in. “Food is really good. Menu is pretty simple, but it’s well done. Tuna and Mahi burgers and tacos are excellent. Sweet potato fries are likewise worth a try. Make sure to get the dipping sauce made of magic. I think it’s marshmallow fluff and cream cheese. Regardless, it’s amazing. Service is fine, but not outstanding. Go there for the food though!”

“Parrot's on Eleventh has become my number one restaurant in Morehead City. Atmosphere and food was phenomenal, we went out with two couples and every guest at the table said the same thing, "Food was excellent, top notch". I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in Carteret County NC. The host was pleasant and very welcoming, our waitress Lorrie was wonderful and knowledgeable about all the options on the menu. Our overall experience was a 5 star.”

“Leaving Walmart in Moorhead I called Country Kitchen and I ordered three chicken dinners to go and I left Walmart got to Country Kitchen my dinners were ready wait staff was friendly I was very impressed with their service and their quality of food and the quick turnaround time I truly enjoy Country ”

“I love everything about Giovanni’s Brooklyn Bagels! Everyone is friendly and helpful. The selection of handmade bagels and cheese spreads are fantastic. They also offer bagel sandwiches and sweets! The stuffed bagels are AMAZING! I tried the Mexican stuffed bagel. It was filled with cheese, peppers, and sausage….it was like a mini Mexican Stromboli…. So good! All of the bagels are delicious. My personal favorite is the onion and garlic, but you can’t go wrong with any choice. I made a little bagel board with a variety of Giovanni’s bagels, their cheese spreads, and toppings for a brunch and my guests loved it.”

“We have dined at Floyd's several times while visiting the area and have always had a nice experience, good food and service. But, our visit last week, 3/14, was not what we expected. The food quality was sub-par, the shrimp size was far smaller than we have experienced in the past, the fish served with the fish and chips was under cooked and soggy inside and the shrimp and grits was bland. And, the prices are just too high to justify the food quality and serving sizes.Add to this a waiter who was very uninformed about the menu, was slow to respond with drink refills and other requests, and generally talked too much, mostly about himself and his girlfriend. Overall a very disappointing visit and one that will probably cause us not to risk a return trip anytime soon, sorry to say.”
