Brilliant example of a home town American dinner. Friendly service where you are treated as a friend. Obviously a local favorite. They were full up both times we were there. Try the Chicken Pie!
This is one of my favorite places to eat. I almost always order the souvlaki and have done so for the past 18 years. Needless to say, I love the dish. Although it was a bit disappointing that they stopped serving the salad with it, I still order it. The homemade chips can't be beat! They're always nice and friendly. The inside is pretty simple, and that suits me just fine.

This place is such a charming diner! They know their regulars by name, and all have such a cool southern charm about it! The food was absolutely delish, I had the club sandwich with fries, and dang it was so good! I wish this place was closer to my house because I would be eating here all the time! Definitely coming back to visit next time I come to Mt. Airy!
