This was our third stop in Mt Airy to compare cheeseburgers with chili, mustard and slaw. We were getting full from the other burgers we sampled, so we split one at this location. Speedy Chef was the only restaurant that used a char-grill vs a flat top griddle, so the burger had an outdoor cooked flavor and crispy edges. We liked that. The hotdog's are amazing!!! And I love the chef burger with cheese mayo and slaw and tomato... really delicious the fries are great but since they changed to the cup you don't get enough fries...

Stopped in for lunch. We got the chef burger, cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings. Staff were friendly and it was very clean. Food came out hot and fresh. We are glad we stopped in! This was our first time visiting. Portions were plenty! Our total bill was under $19 which was reasonable.
