“We tried this place at lunchtime on a weekday, and it was packed! They have an extensive menu. We ordered breakfast, the food was good! When you stop in, make sure you get the biscuits and gravy. It was fantastic! The prices are very reasonable. The staff and locals are incredibly friendly!Parking: It's a gravel parking lot, park anywhere.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is kid friendly, loud, and lively.”

“Crazy to me that I got the best pad Thai I've had in YEARS at a mini mart type store. Came here when I was feeling under the weather and craving pad Thai and wasn't disappointed. So much food for the price and it was delicious. Got it to go and took a bite of the food while I was driving home and had a hard time stopping myself from eating before I even got to the house- I can't say enough good things. The food really is great and the service is fast.”

“We've ordered take-out twice before and Papa Sammy's is our favorite local pizza place. Decided to eat in this time and we had a BLAST! Our grandson (18 mo) could run around, there were games to play, large tables, plenty of chairs and highchairs to utilize. Great food - we had pizza, mozzerella sticks, fried raviolis and fries. All delicious! Our grandson enjoyed a cake pop on the way out. Thanks Papa Sammy and staff! We'll be back soon!”

“My server was also the bartender so even though he was incharge of the whole restaurant, he was attentive and kind. He suggested to try any of the burgers so I got the classic burger which was a great choice! The food came out hot and it was so delicious. I will be back when I'm in the area.”

“Never had a bad meal or a bad drink here. Everything is always on point and packed with flavor. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is great with the welcoming fire pit in cooler days. Definitely one of my favorite places around.”

“I have lunch here periodically with a group. I love the grouper sandwich, but yesterday I had the Grilled chicken Caesar salad. It was Huge! The grilled chicken was hot and delicious. The salad was dressed perfectly- an excellent balance without too much dressing. I recommend you plan to share one or take some home in a box as I did. That night it made a filling snack that was just as good as it was at lunch. The next day I finished it for my lunch. The croutons that were French and warm the previous day were not soggy (!) and it made for a great 2nd lunch. We always enjoy the service and atmosphere either inside or outside. Recommended!”

“As an employee of the restaurant, I would like to inform you that the comments made by the concerned Mrs. S..... !!We are in 2024 and it is obvious that whatever happens around us we upload it to the internet making everything tragic!! This lady came and applied as a server and hosts.. she started working as a hostess for 2 weeks until one night the manager offered her to work in another position “since her application was for waitress and hostess”she refused without even trying!the same evening the Owner spoke to her in front of the manager and another employeeHe told her:I don't want to put you to work as a waitress since you don't want to but at least do the training just in case of emergency waitress calls out to know how to serve! She categorically refused.. The owner told her that he didn’t want to pay two employees for the same job,so they can alternately work as hosts and as waiters the other girl was ok with it…obviously she refused and she said it was fine as hosts!!The owner thanked her profusely and told her he wouldn't need her anymore!She cursed as she left from the restaurantA few hours later, her mother called “to note that the lady was 35 years old”, complaining that the owner and the manager treated her daughter badlyThe next day her husband came to collect the check shouting and cursing inside the restaurant forcing the owner to call the police!!!Posted bad reviews about the restaurant actually me and the rest of the restaurant staff just laughed when we saw it because we know that our customers have known the restaurant for many years and they are very happy that our rating is 100 and 99.5 and we as employees are very proud of it!!Αnd besides if I'm not wrong ,Hostess position is at the front of the restaurant, I get impressed that she knows in detail what was going on back in the kitchen?I would also like to say that she is insulting herself by saying she used the towels we used for the floor to wipe the tables!!!we as waitresses had no way of doing that!!I wanted to place correctly and fairly as an employee of the restaurant because these comments are an insult to the restaurant!!”

“Now knows as Pies & Sides, we were waiting to get an opportunity to grab some pies as they have limited hours. I grabbed the meat pies and I have to say I am not sorry, they’re delicious. When I was in there the girl that checked me out was very friendly and told me that they will be open later on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings for take out only. I am definitely looking forward to that!”
