“Everything I’ve eaten from Tacos and Wings has been delicious!! The staff is very kind and helpful. Great customer service. They have called me on more than one occasion just to check and make sure that part of my online order was made just the way I wanted.Kid-friendliness: I don’t have small children but I did notice kid friendly menu options.”

“6-17-23Small Mexican food mart that also twins as a restaurant. Has two interior tables for dining in. Interior is well maintained.Came for the tacos. They have typical meat choices topped with onions and cilantro. Corn tortillas. I sampled carnitas, pastor, and birria. My favorite is the pastor, but all are a reorder. All tacos come with lime slices and green and red salsa should you need that.Also tried their horchata, and this was among the best I can remember having. Do you like horchata? You will love it here.Staff were friendly, food came out quick, and we left fat and happy.Parking: Gravel lot. Plenty.”

“This is the cutest little place! We went in for lunch and had great bbq chicken, slaw, and potato salad. It was delicious! We’re headed back Sunday morning for breakfast. It’s everything you hope for in a local restaurant. The service was great, too!Did I mention the free basket of hush puppies and dessert? We were all full and happy when we left. I believe they are not open on Saturday. Make sure to get there if you can! It’s good country, comfort food.They are a cash only restaurant, so make sure you have $.”

“Pizza was okay... Crust was a little bland but nice and crispy. Service was wonderful. Inside is dated but kind of what I would expect from a place like this. Not a bad thing. Bathroom was weird though.”

“I visited the Mt. Olive location on a Friday night and I was thoroughly impressed. After hearing good things about this restaurant I wanted to check it out for myself. I ordered the 10oz. ribeye (medium) with grilled shrimp and a baked potato. It also came with a slice of toast, cocktail sauce, butter and sour cream. I have absolutely no complaints. Oh, and the salad bar has many options and is worth the additional $6. Our service was good, we did not have to wait to be seated at peak dinner time and most importantly the food tasted great. I highly recommend this restaurant and more specifically this location. I will definitely be back.”

“Run, don't walk! This is the most charming lunch spot, in the middle of no where with perfectly fried food what more could you ask for!? Oh yeah their incredible small town service! The hush puppies are worth the trip alone but my favorite was the fried okra. My husband had trout and fried shrimp, my daughter had a hamburger and loved it. But let's be honest I had the best of all fried flounder, fried shrimp, and that okra!!! Shew already planning another trip out there! You will leave happy, happy, happy!”

“Yesterday my grandmother and I went out to eat here with my 7 month old son. My grandmother was having health issues and was unresponsive our server was quick to grab my son take him behind the counter and play with him until EMS came. I thank her so much because I was able to give my grandmother the attention she needed to keep her alive without having to worry about my son. I can't thank this place enough also the fried chick was amazing.”

“Mount Olive is lucky to have a place like this! I've been here 3 times (and will go much more). Every visit has been a superior experience, The salads are extremely fresh. “We were in Mount Olive, NC, for a softball tournament and wanted to find a sit-down restaurant. We found El Mazatlan and fell in love. The atmosphere was nice and our waiter was so patient. He had a very calm demeanor and answered all questions with a smile. The portions were out of this world! We all have leftovers that are enough for a nice meal.”

“I know when I order from here, my order will be correct as well as plentiful. You get a good bit for what you pay for it, it’s very inexpensive, and they don’t disappoint.”

“The staff were exceptional compared to other fast food! Very kind and customer focused I thought. My kids played for a while and I was surprised how often the staff cleaned and took care of the customers. Will be back ??”

“Been here multiple times, the food is good and if you haven't been here that I think you should definitely try it. However, this place used to be better imo. The serving sizes used to be a bit larger and a bit better made (rice being a little bit too dry and fried chicken used to be much thicker but now since it's thinner due to flattening it out, the chicken easily gets over done) I know that those could turn someone away from this place but I don't think you should, the food is still good and if you're wanting Japanese food, then by all means go here and try it. Although I'm sure you'll see the points I'm making.”
