“One of Charlotte’s hidden gems!! Family owned and operated for over 50 years. Friendly atmosphere, quick service and I can’t say enough about the food. Over the years I’m pretty sure I’ve tried most the menu and have loved every bite! It’s a great breakfast and lunch spot and you can’t beat the price!!”

“Solid clean Indian food. I'm a beginner when it comes to ordering and keep things simple. We order biryanis and tandoori chicken and it was delicious and craved for more. When we ordered takeout the second time we picked up the wrong order which was 100% vegan. We called back to complain and they did not charge us. We tried the food and although we are not vegan the food was still tasty. I would go back the naan is excellent too and the owner did the right thing by not charging us.”

“Just had a great lunch here - lentil soup and lamb biryani. Both were excellent and perfectly made to my preferred spice level. The chunks of lamb were tender and delicious, which is often not the case with lamb dishes at other restaurants. The decor is pretty basic, but the food is first-rate. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Vegan dishes are also available.”

“Always a great atmosphere at Margaux’s, located in the middle of downtown Pineville. Margaux’s has a very wide selection of wine and charcuterie boards and is perfect for a date night.This time, we ordered the vegan pizza, tomato soup, and pecan salad, all which were delicious and full of flavor. However, the Cuban sandwich stole the show. It was truly the BEST Cuban sandwich I have ever had, and I’m not exaggerating.Try the Cuban sandwich, you won’t regret it.”

“Lovely plant-filled dining area that was comfortable despite the chilly weather. We enjoyed our early evening meals served by attentive staff. All of our various entrees were good (4 of us with different choices). The only very minor complaint was that my mother discovered her rice pudding was slightly under baked when we got home (she took dessert as a carry-out).”

“Saw the Disney trivia event on Facebook and came for the first time. GREAT service from bartenders and wonderful variety of food and drink to choose from. We loved the cobb salad and mushroom burger! Plus the pistachio brownie, WOW ? Everything was delicious and the trivia was fun as well ?THANK YOU for having hooks under the bar for purses and bags - more restaurants need to do this.”

“If you're looking for great food, large portion size for the money, and great wait service, this is the place to go. This is an older establishment, so the interior could use updating. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but you can usually find a spot. Overall, a fantastic place to eat and that's what it's all about, right?”

“Found this place when we stepped off the plane in Charlotte and my daughter wanted wings and my wife wanted seafood. My daughter described the BBQ wings as “the best ever” and my “mild Cajun” shrimp-and-black-mussels boil set a low-country flavor standard that no other restaurant in the Carolinas or Georgia would touch on this trip. I would not recommend fried shrimp on its own (would likely have paired those with a garlic butter and tossed them) but to each their own. Only knock on atmosphere might be the windows: it’s time to clean them!”

“Love the interior decorations. Food is fresh and you can tell it is made there. The Margarita I had was one of the best I ever had, made with their own fresh sweet and sour. The menu is authentic Peruvian. The only difficulty was deciding what we wanted as basically the whole menu was something new for us. Do yourself a favor and become a frequent customer of this local, family owned restaurant!”
