“Review:My wife and I share a deep appreciation for hotdogs, so when I stumbled upon this spot on Facebook, we were eager to give it a try. First time experiences mean a lot to us, regardless of the context, so we approached our visit with a mixture of anticipation and curiosity.Upon arrival, it was evident that the owner was in the midst of renovations, which somewhat affected the atmosphere. However, we believe in honesty when it comes to reviews, hence the 3-star rating in this category. Despite the ongoing changes, there was an air of excitement and potential that hinted at what was to come. Now, let’s talk about the food. It was nothing short of exceptional. You could immediately discern that the owner takes great pride in serving top-notch fare. Each bite of the hotdogs was a testament to the care and attention to detail put into crafting them. Moreover, the variety offered was impressive, catering to different dietary preferences and restrictions. My wife, who typically avoids pork and beef, was delighted to find a Turkey Chilli option on the menu, further enhancing our dining experience.Beyond the delectable food, what truly stood out was the owner’s exemplary customer service. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel like old friends, warmly welcoming us and engaging us in friendly conversation. It was evident that he genuinely cared about his customers’ satisfaction, going above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. In conclusion, despite the ongoing renovations, our visit to this hotdog spot exceeded our expectations in terms of both food quality and customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and left with the intention of becoming regular patrons. We eagerly anticipate returning to see how the establishment evolves and to indulge in more of their delicious offerings. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of our experience, highlighting both the strengths and areas for improvement while expressing our genuine enthusiasm for this hidden gem of a hotdog spot.“

“My girlfriend and I came here unexpectedly on Saturday last week. We tried to go to another restaurant and they had a 1+hour wait so we came here as a last resort. Not only did they have a dedicated parking lot downtown, they got us seated within 5 minutes of arrival. The tables weren't mid either. They came with folded napkins, candles, and flower arrangements. The food was excellent and the service was phenomenal. I found myself often admiring the service I was witnessing at OTHER tables. Overall I'd highly reccomend this restraunt for a date night or anyone trying to impress their guests.“

“Came in for brunch. The hostess was welcoming and escorted us to the bar seating when we requested. The restaurant was clean. I love the black leather seating interior throughout. We met our bartender Steven.Steven is great! Very welcoming, engaging, professional, and did a fabulous job making recommendations.I enjoyed the Gumbo grits which did not look appetizing when they arrived but it was delicious. There was sauteed chicken, sausage, and pickled okra as well as an egg that I had on the side (i ultimately added to my gumbo). I love a savory breakfast bowl and this was just that. There was also an order of catfish by the other individual in my party along with eggs, and sausage. For dessert, we tried the Sinner Rolls which were a nice sweet treat. My cocktails were espresso Hendricks martini, French 75, and cranberry mimosa... What a time!Everything was great!Steven's cocktails were top-tier.I must add the restrooms have all the hygienic things for individuals to go out in the world on the go to conquer their day. I love this!“

Highly recommend the roast chicken, the "Pickle Juice" Caesar salad and the Marinated Avocado...but really everything (we ordered one-of-each entrees and shared). The Macaroni au Gratin is huge and decadent but worth it for even a few bites. Dessert may have been the best of course, which is saying a lot. Staff was great. Give yourself some time as the space is tight and deservedly crowded. In short, the awards were not wrong. Go. As often as you can.“

I have never met somebody as animated as him and so kind and respectful. I asked for salt it was out instantly. I would ask for some extra ranch and it was out just as fast as the salt I had asked for. I never even had to ask for refills he was so on top of it. Jeremy didn’t just serve he made this place feel like home when I was starting to think I was all alone. He told me about his dog Jax and his Cat axel now I feel like I need to adopt some animals. “Hadn't been to YH in a long while. Was a busy Sunday afternoon so had to wait a while and waited a bit for our waitress to come but the service was great once it started and the food was very good. I had the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak...didn't eat a lot of the bread, just the toasted part.. It was delicious...as was the Cocacola chocolate dessert! I will definitely go back for those items!Parking: There are a few parking spaces right next to the restaurant but those can fill up quickly. There is a parking deck directly across from the restaurant and a couple others available of you want to enjoy a nice little walk.“

“Born too early to be an online influencer. Born too late to develop generational wealth. However, I would give all of those rewards up for another opportunity to be served by Stephanie at the Falls of Neuse location. The service she provided reminded me of the time I had to make an emergency stop at the Ritz in Paris: only the highest quality for her V.I.P. customers.Don't get me started on the food. The food reminded me of the foie gras at Le Fouquet. Simply delectable. All in all my experience at the bad daddy's off of falls of Neuse road can be described in only one way: Absolute Cinema“

“Had brunch with my sister. I can't Rabe enough about this place. I lived in the South all my life, and that's the best biscuit i have ever had. It was big but fluffy and soft. Not dry a bit and homemade apple butter. We had drinks of course. She had the 5 mini jars of mimosas, but the "winter wonderland" was lite but refreshing. And for breakfast, the stuffed French toast was scrumptious it was drizzled with a raspberry compote no syrup neededYou're missing out if u don't eat here“

“What a fantastic local diner run by the nicest people you'll ever meet.We came in for a late brunch about an hour and a half before closing and it was pretty quiet so service was quick. We seated ourselves and had our drink orders taken immediately and placed our orders which took maybe 10-15 minutes to come out, very fast.We had the country fried steak, egg, and cheese sandwich and the BLT with fries and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. It easily beats out anything I ever had from Denny's or IHOP. Since it's right in our neighbourhood, we'll definitely be back often!“

“Had the best meal ever, again! I'm never disappointed when I eat at J Alexanders. The wait was an hour, so we sat at the bar. Emily took care of us with another handsome (African-American) man (wish I would have gotten his name). They were both so attentive and detail oriented. I can't say enough about my favorites offerings... ThaiKai Salad, Steak and Frites (perfect temperature) and the Carrot Cake. The service and atmosphere are wonderful too but will take second place to the fabulous food.“

“I had the City Sampler which is brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and turkey with two sides. Definitely plenty of food for lunch and dinner later. Tried all of their sauces at the sauce bar and maybe it's the North Carolinian in me but I preferred the swine wine on the pork and turkey. Brisket needs no sauce and is melt in your mouth delicious. Collards were ok but the Mac was amazing!“
