Gonza continues to be the best Mexican restaurant in Raleigh. The owner, Gonza Salamanca, visits every table to make sure you are satisfied with your total dining experience. This restaurant is consistent in every aspect...servers, food quality, presentation, beverages and deserts. It is family-friendly and a neighborhood treasure.
Where to start?! In the past I worked at Gonza for over 3 years at all locations! Although, I no longer work there, I still go out to eat at Gonza’s all the time. Gonza is my favorite restaurant in the whole world! It is super clean, the workers are awesome, the atmosphere is hands down the best in Raleigh, and the food is delicious! Always a great meal! We drive from Durham because the Gonza there so sadly closed. Well worth the drive. Great ambiance, super fun. Ask to try their homemade hot sauce! Amazing. Highly reccomend the Mexican Flag.
