I've not done a review in a while. As soon as my meal was finished tonight, I was compelled to leave one. We were greeted with kindness and treated as if we were genuinely special. First time eating here, the food is expensive, but generally it is tasty. Ordered the tuna appetizer, beef tournedos, and ribeye special with a side of au gratin potatoes. The ribeye was an absurd price, over $70 without a side. It was tasty, but there was a ton of inedible cartilage, and it wasn't really tender compared to other ribeyes I've had for much cheaper elsewhere. My family and I dined at Rey’s this past Saturday evening. It took almost an hour for our entrees to arrive at the table. Our beef and seafood entrees were just okay, nothing special. We were somewhat disappointed. Not what we would expect for the price point. Oh well.
