We were so excited to finally eat here! We checked out the online menu before coming, and it said there was an omakase option for $85. When we arrived, we didn’t see that option on the menu so we asked about it. Our server said they could do it but asked us how much we wanted to spend. My husband said he saw $85 online and our server seemed puzzled by that amount. I’ve never been asked how much I wanted to spend on omakase so it was a little awkward and odd. Hosts and wait staff were very friendly. Food was good, not outstanding. We are patrons of Warji, but for being just voted one of Raleigh's best restaurants --it was disappointing. Service was poor. Plates were not cleared as next course was brought out. We spilled some soy sauce and asked for a napkin to clean it. After we cleaned the small spill, we left the napkin at the end of the table. Went there to meet up with a friend after a long time.Ordered the following:Tuna Tataki -> Burst & suppleTakoyaki -> contained & deliciousHinata, Crazy Jeri, Waraji Roll -> First two were delightful, the last was meh.Matcha Cheesecake -> Balanced & PatientMochi Ice cream-> Sad it got over quick.
