“I just finished my delicious sugar free Caramel Vanilla Latte that was purchased from Juanita, a coffee camper located in Rockwell, North Carolina. There were ten cars in front of us, but it moved quickly. We will definitely visit Juanita again.”
“It's one of the best , a lot of places are having to cut back or raise prices. Sadly! The Rockwell Dinner is still serving great food at great prices an with a great staff. I highly recommend it .”
“Yooooo...so, if you want a GREAT pizza, or chicken, I swear this is the place to go. Hands down, best pizza around. Nobody even comes close. If you are in the mood for trash pizza, go next door to Domino's and they can hook you up , but if you want a GOOD pizza, Danny's is where you're going to get it. When you first walk in, you're gonna be concerned, I'm not gonna lie. Everyone looks angry and miserable, and for the most part, they are! But they funnel all that anger and misery into making an excellent pizza that tastes like pure positivity! You even get a free 2 liter of you order a large. Don't sleep on this place.....is good buddy, is so good.”
“I come here occasionally when I deliver to the dollar general next door and I'm never disappointed. Be it a simple cheese quesadilla or a meat calzone, it's always yummy!”
“We were welcome with a smile and greatservice. The BBQ wasdelicious. Also the slaw and the hush puppies and tea was so good . I give you guys 5 ⭐'s! God bless!”
“The food at the place is *chef's kiss* immaculate. I love Mexican food and I came from a place that is known to have wonderful authentic Mexican food, and I say this food truck is the place to go for authentic Mexican food. The people are nice and the prices are reasonable! I highly recommend their steak tacos.”
“While all Subway stores should be the same, they are not. We visit a lot of them and the one in Granite Quarry NC is the best of the best. Clean, very friendly staff and the subs are truly made with care. Veggies always look fresh.”
“Authentic Mexican GemNestled in the heart of Rockwell, North Carolina, Los Jacubes stands out as a gem among local dining establishments. Boasting an inviting atmosphere, exceptional service, and delectable Mexican cuisine, Los Jacubes is a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike. During my recent visit, I was treated to a remarkable dining experience that exceeded my expectations. Here is a detailed review of my time at Los Jacubes. The impeccable service at Los Jacubes truly sets it apart. From the moment I stepped inside, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel like a valued guest. The waitstaff exhibited extensive knowledge of the menu, offering insightful recommendations and patiently answering all of my questions. Not only were they prompt in taking orders and delivering food, but they also checked on us regularly to ensure our satisfaction. The team's genuine warmth and hospitality added an extra touch of excellence to the overall dining experience. The highlight of my visit to Los Jacubes was undoubtedly the outstanding Mexican cuisine. The menu features a wide range of authentic dishes, prepared with care and attention to detail. Whether you have a preference for traditional favorites or an adventurous palate seeking new flavors, Los Jacubes has something to satisfy every taste. From flavorful enchiladas and sizzling fajitas to the freshest seafood and tender grilled meats, each dish was a celebration of Mexican culinary expertise. The ingredients were exceptionally fresh, and the flavors were bold and well-balanced. Moreover, the portion sizes were generous, ensuring that no one left the table hungry.”
“The place is cute and clean inside! Prices are the best around AND the food is the best around. We pass 2 Chinese places to come to this one in Rockwell! Sweet front lady & delicious food. We always have enough to eat leftovers the next day!Kid-friendliness: Candy machines”
“Ordered from here tonight (called in order) the lady that answered didn't understand me, she handed the phone off to a gentleman and he sounded like ge didn't want to be there. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sub and an Italian sub. Well my Philly sub was plain, but still good. Next time imma ask for it all the ”
“Visited Johnny's Barbecue last week to try some of their baby flounder. The restaurant was clean, wait staff pleasant and the fried flounder hot, crunchy and very tasty. I enjoyed the flounder, the delicious white slaw, slightly sweet hush-puppies and the billowy french fries. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. To top it off, the owner visits each table to ensure customers are satisfied - doesn't get any better than that!”
“This Sonic is hit or miss. Most of the time it’s great, but there are a few times they just completely miss the mark with either service or quality of the food. The times we have stopped, it’s usually not very busy and it’s a small order. Yes, we’ve had to wait a while before while being the only ones ordering, and we have also had overdone or just nasty tasting food. I haven’t stopped in a few months, hopefully things have improved and they are back on their A game.”
“Have to stop here every time we go through Rockwell. Not so much because it's Hardee's , but to commemorate my grandmother. She loved Hardee's and her coupons ! Grandma liked to go ( obviously before covid ) to sit in and eat breakfast and gossip with all the other old timers. When we would come to visit a trip to Hardee's was one inevitable. That being said, the staff is courteous and the Frisco breakfast sandwich was toasted just right. ?”
“This McDonald's location is the best! Solid Mc'D's! Salty fries, fresh made Sammy's! When I crave this junk,..I will only eat at the Rockwell spot!”
“A Symphony of Smoke: A Culinary Journey at Smoke Pit BarbecueIn the heart of Salisbury, North Carolina, amidst whispers of barbecue bliss, lies a culinary haven known as Smoke Pit Barbecue. Guided by the fervent recommendations of local friends, we embarked on a flavorful expedition, eager to savor the essence of true Southern barbecue. As we crossed the threshold of this gastronomic sanctuary, I was met with a surprising dichotomy. The modernist allure of Smoke Pit, with its sleek interior and contemporary accents, danced in harmony with the rustic charm expected of a barbecue sanctuary. Adorned with the vibrant creations of local artists, the walls whispered tales of community and culture, setting the stage for an unforgettable feast.Seated promptly by the effervescent Daisy, our journey began. With each glance at the menu, anticipation swelled within me, fueled by the promises of succulent brisket and smoky delights. Despite a slight misstep in communication, where my yearning for onion rings was lost in translation, the culinary voyage pressed on.In the company of cherished friends, we embarked on a symphony of flavors, each dish a crescendo of taste and texture. My chosen muse, the Brisket sandwich on a brioche canvas, beckoned with tender whispers of smoke-kissed perfection. Though marred by a lingering vein of fat, the brisket exuded a melody of flavor that danced upon the palate, a testament to the artistry of Smoke Pit's craft.Beside me, my wife reveled in the indulgence of a brisket-loaded baked potato, its hearty embrace a testament to the decadence of Southern comfort. As our friends delved into the BBQ mixer platter, a cornucopia of barbecue delights, laughter mingled with the heady aroma of smoked meats, weaving memories as intricate as the flavors before us.Amidst the clinking of glasses and the laughter of companionship, Smoke Pit Barbecue transcended the realm of mere dining, becoming a tapestry of shared moments and cherished memories. For in the alchemy of good food and great company, bonds are forged and stories are woven, each meal a chapter in the epic saga of friendship.Though Smoke Pit Barbecue may have faltered in the pursuit of ambiance, its soulful offerings and warm hospitality earned it a place in our hearts. With a variety of sauces adorning our table like treasures waiting to be discovered, each bite was a revelation, a testament to the culinary prowess that resides within these hallowed walls. In the tapestry of life, where flavors intertwine and memories are etched upon the palate, Smoke Pit Barbecue stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, beckoning travelers and locals alike to partake in its savory symphony. For in the embrace of good food and good friends, true magic is found, a sentiment that lingers long after the last bite is savored.Rating: A-Thomas CorraoWe are a couple traveling around the USA in our RV. “Has the cod platter, cod was freshly fried with good flavor and very tasty, I always like crinkle fries and the coleslaw tasted almost like my mother in law's which I always thought was the best I ever had. Wish there was a Culver's near me. I will go back again when I am in Sali, NCWheelchair accessibility: I am a senior citizen and saw other customers in wheelchairs so I assume there is handicap availability”
“Vegetarian options: Also vegan selection! Chef went out of his way to make us vegan spicy mayo without our asking to go with our (vegan) dumplings, which were amazing!!”
“I have loved everything I've tried here. You can't go wrong with Salty Caper Pizza! Tried the Sgabei & it's amazing! We have to have some every time we're ”
“Our family of four came into downtown Salisbury to attend the Nutcracker performance at Catawba College. We do not live locally so we didn't prepare for the demand on local restaurants that evening. Without reservations, we were unable to be seated at two other nearby restaurants. My husband walked into Carpe Vinum and despite having no reservations and a quick timeline (45 minutes) they were able to seat us at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant and accommodating. Through her service and the kitchen's quick response, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and never felt rushed. My daughters loved their espresso martini and aperol spritz. Between the four of us, we enjoyed a grilled wedge salad, a caesar salad, lobster bisque, sliders, tuna bites and fried shrimp. It was all wonderful! Thank you again for a great dinner and the hospitality. We will be back!”
“When your tired of the fast food norm.....like I am I try hole in the wall spots all the time and this one, was different. Small quick and easy menu, reminds me of in and out.....and the service and atmosphere are great. Staff is welcoming and the historic feel of the place brings you a small town feel. I got the hotdog and cheeseburger all the way......fast service and it's done right in front of you. I would have preferred more of a seer on the burgers and a little more snap on the dog......reminds me of a meatball/pulled beef formed into a patty. Little seasoning would also help with the bland flavor, but overall I would rate the overall experience a 7.2 out of 10.”
“Came to Koco Java for a partial work day with a friend and loved the ambience! The staff was friendly and the americano & muffin were fantastic. Highly recommend this spot!”
“One of our "go-to" places for Mexican food. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service is prompt, staff are friendly and they checked in with us several times.”
“This place is amazing I have never tasted anything like their macaroons at Tita’s cake house! I would definitely recommend for a sit down relaxing place to eat a sweet treat!”
“We ate here Sunday for our 2nd time.. absolutely AMAZING food.. real food.. not over cooked frozen processed garbage you get from most restaurants these days!! Would highly recommend them.. get the broccoli.. you’ll thank me later!!!”
“My son and I had dinner and loved everything we ate. It was too much food, but we wanted to try a lot, so we shared the tropical sampler, garlic shrimp, olives, fried potatoes, beans and rice, and flan. He hadn't eaten Cuban food before and was very impressed. The atmosphere and decor is really special. They also have a great choice of beer on tap, wine, and cocktails.”
“My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years now since we found the place. Hands down our favorite Mexican cuisine in the area; the birria and street tacos are incredible and they have the best horchata. Service is always great, and food never takes long.”
“Such high quality food. Its a well loved lunch for the entire office. The best part is that I dont feel poorly when eating it because its all such nutritional and fresh ingredients. We all get the wraps.”
“I had never heard of this place and certainly didn't realize it was a chain until pulling it up on Google Maps. I ate here on Friday and it was spectacular. I was very happy with the pancakes and the livermush+egg+cheese sandwich. I also had a bite of hashbrowns and country fried steak. I highly recommend this place because not only was the food great, but the service was wonderful and the price was right.”
“I've been coming here for about three months now and I love the food and ladies here. They are all so nice and the cooks know how to serve up some good lunch ?”
