“I actually live in Garner/Clayton but my son and I drove out here to meet my husband for lunch since he work in Rocky Mount. It was a great experience the moment we stepped in the door we were immediately greeted and sat right away ( this was about 12:15/12:30pm) everyone was Very friendly and super attentive. The food was quite tasty and very reasonably priced very good experience 10 out of 10 would recommend.“
“? El Jimador is our go to restaurant for sure considering it is the BEST Mexican restaurant around in our opinion. From the time we enter the doors this restaurant is amazing. Upon arriving we are always greeted with smiles, a cozy atmosphere, fast seating and fast service. After being seated the waiter/waitress starts everyone off with homemade chips, salsa and white sauce. The white sauce is like nothing I have ever seen at other Mexican restaurants. It is so delicious and pairs well with the salsa. Their sweet tea is another one of my favorite things about this place. I definitely need their secret recipe. Their menu has a wide selection of delicious choices for everyone including the kiddos, but some of my personal favorites are the fresh guacamole, burrito jimador, pollo charro, fried Baja shrimp tacos or mushroom quesadilla. The kids like their acp and chicken tenders with Mexican rice off the kids menu along with their large candy selection at check out for an after dinner treat. Keep up the good work! “Good was decent, nothing spectacular but nothing bad. Menu needs more definition on what all comes in each item, such as the quesadillas. Would recommend giving it a try, seems very kid friendly with the turtle and fish to throw to also.Parking: The parking lot is for the park nearby, and power plant center. “I came here to do a little vibing. I didn't order food, but the chips and salsa were fresh. I had all 3 salsas (white sauce, Verde salsa, and the chip salsa)!. My server/bartender was great and very attentive. My drink was catchy ?. Was going to order Togo, but it wouldn't hold up on the commute, and I was riding with someone else. Next time, amigos“
“Came to town for business from Durham and this place is LITERALLY THE BEST Mexican I've had since living in NC for 5 months!! Wish they had one closer to me, but love that it's local owned. Great service, great food, great prices. Very pleased!“
