Uncover Rolesville's Mexican dining scene with Restaurantji's insights.
“My go to Food truck! And the Carne Asada Plate is amazing! It comes with Carne Asada, piece of sausage, rice, pico de gallo, slice of avocado, and a pack of fresh tortillas!Always good quality food! Owner and Employees are the friendliest people you could ever meet. I've been going to them for about 2 years or so. I use to go for my lunch breaks but cannot do so anymore because my office moved, I now stop by for dinner sometimes or go pick up food on the weekends, that alone should tell you that the food is worth the drive to try out!Don't forget the Horchata and fresh Lemonade!Parking: It shares a parking lot with a Motel, usually a good decent amount of parking spots“
“This place is nice! The inside is clean and well kept, with the staff being friendly. Nice decorations all around, creating a pretty view. The menu itself has a wide variety with plenty of options to choose from. Anyone could find something to eat:) I ordered the Lengua Fries and I was shocked by the amount I received. I had to get some of it to-go because I could not finish it all.Overall, a nice location with good food that I would def recommend for Latin food enthusiasts.“
“Took my daughter on a daddy daughter date. The service was good and the servers were very friendly. My daughter says the beans are next level good.Parking: Was very easy to find a spot great locationKid-friendliness: Servers were very kind and inclusive to my daughter. She placed her own order.“
“This truck is the best bang for your buck compared to other Birria vendors. Consommé not included but the tacos are juicy enough without them. Quesadillas + Sour Cream were also an amazing choice for those looking to try something different. Will keep coming here for as long as they’re here “
“I visited here while traveling for work and I ordered the Carne Asada - it was delicious and the portion size was fantastic! I loved the food and couldn't even finish it was so much and so great for the price. I will be coming back again and again because not only was the food outstanding, but also the customer service I received here was the best I've had at any restaurant. I called the restaurant because I forgot to get my receipt and I needed it for my expense report and the staff were so kind to me, they remembered me and sent me a picture of the receipt. It was so kind of them and I wanted to say MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS ? I really appreciate it“
“One of the few places that serve chilaquiles in the area. Choice of sauces with it too! Great service with really good variety of dishes. Tamales on Sundays. Will definitely be back to try the fried fish options. Nothing fancy with the decor but you’ll enjoy the food!“
“Ordered the enchilada and empanada plates and super happy with our order! So glad we checked this place out! Great sanitation rating and clean restaurant too. Staff and chef very friendly and answered all of our questions. Def will come back when we are out this way again!“
“I snuck away with my niece in law and her boyfriend to get away from thanksgiving food on Black Friday lol. We came just in time for the lunch special (Good prices too!) we were the second party there and quickly seated and served. I order a horchata and my niece got a margarita flight. Both were very good and sweet! My meal was also great the chicken had onions, cheese and garlic on top. The garlic to me might have been too much but still tasty.“
“I've had taco truck tacos from all over the US (NY, CA, TX, FL, etc...) and Central America. These tacos are legit, authentic, and delicious. Very nice owners as well. I will go see them again if I'm ever in the area. Great job ??“
“Authentic Mexican food, MUY RICOI loved the Carne Asada tacos. The steak was soft, the flavor was authentic, they're pretty big tacos with plenty of carne. They have tamales and tortas, usually I don't find these at a food truck, but I could be mistaken I don't go to food trucks often.Green tamales were Deliciosos!(casi perfectos) a hint of heat, mildly spicy, juicy, if you've never had tamales you should try these.Red tamales are apparently very spicy.I didn't see any drinks, but the truck is parked at the gas station so it wasn't an issue for us. It's parked right on Capital Blvd, you can't miss it.Parking: Gas station parking lot.“
“Would love to give them 5 stars but, after paying $8 for so little rice I was disappointed. I only wanted rice and beans to go with some food i already had at home. Once I got home I opened the container and was a little disappointed with the amount of rice and beans provided. Granted that’s all I ordered but they could of added more rice to the platter“
“The food was amazing. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place. The owners were very friendly, the food was made to order. Didn’t have to wait too long to get the food once we placed the order. We got chicken, steak, and chorizo tacos as well as pork and steak burritos. Everything was fantastic and we will definitely be going back soon!“
“This place is really great. We normally do takeout - the sandwiches (torta), quesadilla plate, and tostada's are wonderful. Portion size/value is great and I always receive kind service. Salsas that come with your meal taste so fresh. We have not had a bad experience with Chilango :)Vegetarian options: Menu specifically shares which items have no meat for convenience.“
“We went with family for Easter, and it was pretty good. I personally don't eat seafood, but everyone else thought it was really good and the portions were huge. I got the enchiladas, and they were really good. It came with a side of rice and lettuce, pico de gallo mix. My husband got the flautas and they're were really good as well. They didn't come with any other sides, tho. We also got a margarita flight, which was amazing. It came with 4 different types and fruit slices, too.“
“We tried Margarita House Bar & Grill and it was very good. Their menu had lots of great options and the food was really good. I got the Fajita Nachos, my wife got the Carne Asada, and the rest of our group got burritos. Everything tasted great. My only complaint would be we had to ask for silverware when our food arrived and had to wait quite a bit to get it. I chalk this up to how busy they were on a Friday night.“
“This particular restaurant is one of about 5 within a 40 mile radius of each other. We love them! Big servings, competitive prices, dine in or take out. We don't eat here as often as the one in Louisburg NC and Cary but all are efficient and well run. Food is great. Full bar. You simply can't go wrong!Parking: These are all located in shopping centers“
“The wait here was kind of long. I had about 5 people ahead of me. The regular tacos were okay. It wasn't something that I hated or loved. Now, the taco birria was straight up fire.Since I started writing this review ( a month and a half ago), I have been here 4 times. The 3rd time the tacos were kind of slightly off.Taco shells didn't taste too fresh?!But didn't stop me from coming back again ! The last time was back to the normal yummy goodness.“
“Just ordered lunch today for the first time for the family. I got the #5, wife ordered #2 fajita and we got a chicken quesadilla for the kid. Everything was amazing! Very large portions and enough for a couple meals each. Will be frequenting this place more often.“
“I absolutely LOVE this place. My husband and I frequent it at least once a week. Amazing drinks, better food and even better service. The vibes are always good too, I love how happy the staff always seem and I love that they always play music.“
“I always have great service here. The food is great and staff is always friendly. The even have a robot now that delivers your food! Also, my waiter had the robot bring my son dessert, and they sang to him without us even asking! How awesome for them to do that, my son loved it.“
“I got the Ranchero Special, a regular menu item consisting of a grilled chicken breast, ribeye steak and chicken enchilada. The chicken was fine, but the steak was tough and not to my liking. To be fair, I didn't complain or send it back, because I was dining with family and friends, and I just didn't want to be "that guy." I would certainly try them again, but I would probably avoid any steak entrée. Very nice service and atmosphere.“
“I recently had the pleasure of eating at El Taco Gordo in the Fountain Valley. I ordered the Chile Verde plate. my meal was very good but for someone who has to watch their salt intake, the meal was extremely salty. hopefully this isn't something that happens with every meal. I'd rather salt my own food. I would recommend the restaurant tho, the food was good and it was brought to me quickly.“
“I loved this ice cream shop.. believe me, it's a hidden gem for Desserts. It's a South American ( if I am not wrong, Venezuela) ice cream shop. All the ice cream flavors were quite creative \\u0026 different from regular ice cream shops. They have lots of options for Ice Cream Bar as well. Staff was very courteous \\u0026 gave us samples of lots of flavors with a smile. This is a must visit place.“
“Their shirts at all Best damn tacos get the Democrat and the chips and queso you won't be disappointed if you are well apparently you don't like tacos. Also make sure you join the rewards club if you eat there often. Fast service good food friendly staff.“
“La Batitorta food truck is so good! I'd recommend the carnitas and/or birria (no consume) tacos and an agua fresca that he makes fresh everyday with a variety of fruits/flavors. Alan is always so nice, the service is fast and cordial, and the tacos are amazing!“
“This place is the ultimate family favorite. We go at least once a week and have had amazing experiences every time. They are super kid friendly, priced well, great service - everyone we came across was helpful and friendly, and the food is fabulous.“
“Visiting this place is honestly such a wonderful experience. I am too often impressed with their customer and friendly hospitality and I love that about this location. I think this Mexican food chain gets it completely right. Love coming here! “
“Typed in food on my Google map. This place popped up. Was less of a restaurant and more of a sketchy looking food truck. Ordered the carne asada burrito. It was absolutely delicious. It’s no five star restaurant but the food is definitely tasty.“
“LOVE the pozole here, I couldn't cook dinner for a while for my kids with a busy schedule when they were SICK & needed soup it was BOMB! Good proportions NOT less than what you should expect since you are paying EXPENSIVE for the meal & its cheaper to make at home so the amount was DECENT!Thank you? ❤“
“I absolutely love this place. I like crunchy taco foods and this place never disappoints. Just one star off because the very first time I ordered they gave me beef instead of chicken which was very annoying but ever since then it's been okay.“
“The service was great, the food is amazing, the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there, may be family? This is becoming my go to spot for Mexican food. The area is very sketchy, lots of homeless and or transient folks around the parking lot. You'll probably get solicited for money but if you can make it past that the food is worth it. Don't let the parking lot prevent you from trying this great spot.“
“Good place to enjoy with loved ones, friends and dates. Great atmosphere.Plenty of parking. It's located in downtown Wendell. I ordered the fajita taco salad with chicken, it didn't have much chicken maybe 4 small pieces. However, the food was good.“
“As always, we had a wonderful dinner! We celebrated my son's birthday (probably for the eighth or ninth time in the past 13 years and we reminisced with some of the long-time staff over photos of my son wearing the birthday sombrero since he was two years old) and the waitstaff sang and celebrated with us. The food was delicious and delivered quickly. After nearly 20 years, we've never had bad service or food!“
“The food here is absolutely fantastic. I've had burritos, gorditas, sopas, tacos and honestly it has to be one of the best around. I had a breakfast burrito this morning that was so good it made me write this review. This is a must try “
“Amazing place with great atmosphere! Loved all the decor, definitely felt like a lot of love went into this spot. Luca was our server, he had great recommendations and took good care of my mom and I for lunch on Good Friday. The food was excellent! Down to the tortilla chips ?????? Special margarita was blueberry pineapple- immaculate! I got the Camaròn tacos and mom got the Porter no pineapple. The shrimp was excellent with the perfect amount of heat, the pork was some of the best I've had in a taco. Will definitely be making the trip to Raleigh more often to visit more!“
“New name, new owners, slightly renovated space. Great drink and food menus. My wife and I had dinner here on a Monday night. The food, service, and drinks were great with a broad range of selections. We had tried the previous two restaurants in this spot and they were just so so. Glad to have this restaurant in our neighborhood. We will definitely be back.“
“Your standard taco truck. Heads up, their bottled coke is the regular plastic type instead of the glass ones from Mexico. They include some potato pieces with your tacos which is a tasty change-up. I'd definitely go again. Not sure if they take cards, I paid in cash. There's one picnic table to wait or eat at.Wheelchair accessibility: Technically yes but it's a gravel lot that's pretty worn out.“
“Food is a hidden gem! Love their choriqueso, and tortilla soup! I also really like their salsa, it's fresh tasting and never the same which makes me think they actually make it. Service is okay but mostly because of the language barrier it's tough.“
