We made plans to go with my stepdaughter and grandson, but she wasn't feeling well and had to cancel. I had already viewed the online menu and was excited about it. We decided to make the trek from Charlotte to Shelby, in Friday rush hour traffic. So glad we did. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the Squid Salad and Takoyaki (squid balls). Best sushi and hibachi in Shelby. Ginger dressing on point. I had a hard time finding a good spot in Shelby where I can sit at a bar, have cocktails, and great food; that was clean! Dojo roll definitely was a favorite. Highly

Service was good, but the focus on to-go pick up right when you walk in makes you feel like maybe they prefer that over dine-in. All of the food was very sweet. Specifically the sugar carrots with the hibachi was weird, the carrots tasted good but did not match the flavors I was looking for in what I ordered. The kids meal also came out much earlier than the other meals in our party so that felt awkward. Otherwise the service was very good and we enjoyed our sushi
