“My wife orders the Steak Sandwich, w/o Tomato, and my go-to is a simple, 10-inch Pizza, either Plain Cheese, or with 1 topping, such as Onions. I like a crust that's thin, but not hard, a good, light sauce that isn't overly sweet or salty and doesn't dominate, and for my topping, when I choose to get one, to also not completely take over. For me, the Cheese has to be outstanding and be the star. I consistently get all of that at Giovanni's. If you're in the Taylorsville area and feel similarly about Pizza, this is your place. The food's also hot, fresh, and served by friendly people, in a timely manner.Vegetarian options: Cheese Pizza, a variety of Veggie Toppings, customizable Pizza SubParking: The lot can be tight and full, especially at peak times, but there is plenty of parking.”

All the country sides you can think of and a ton of deserts. The burgers were great and the banana pudding was too. Will definitely stop back by, when I’m in the area.”

“I have been going here for a few years. Dennis (owner) is Great ! I recognize this gas station and store as my one stop shop ! I let Dennis know what things I by on a regular bases. And within no time he stocked his store to my preference. I can get drinks, cigs , gas, milk whatever at one place. Now that's customer service right there. “Once again this local restaurant has topped our favorites list!you can not believe how wonderful the bone in fried pork chops are! Perfect , thick, juicy, a huge chop and a perfect crust! You can not beat the southern comfort flavor! As always, the service was fast and totally customer centered and the ambiance is clean and like going to a family dinner! I am so pleased to have this quality home cooking available when my sweet husband needs a break! I have been totally bed ridden for two years now and this restaurant has been a gift to us. “Just went for the first time the other day. The owner is awesome, the food and everyone is great. Like it says at the counter “hold your britches, they ain’t a fast food restaurant” so if you’re expecting precooked nuggets or burgers go to McDonald’s. Be patient, I promise if you want fresh food and fresh ingredients this is the place for you. the food is definitely worth the wait!”

“The Barbeque was moist, flavorful with just the right amount of smoke. Hushpuppies were good. Green beans were too spicy for me and mac and cheese was good but again to peppery. Overall very good, nice atmosphere. Great service. We drove up from Lake Norman to enjoy the bbq.”

My daughter and Mom were speechless after trying their drinks! My mom is typically a plain coffee person and she said the caramel macchiato was the best she'd ever had! The salad bar is a star all by itself, and everything we have ordered has been great. The grilled salmon is especially top notch. We came for a late lunch on Sunday, so we only waited a few minutes for our table.All of the servers are attentive and friendly. It's a 25 minute drive for us to this restaurant, but worth it every time!”
