Came out to Rookies tonight and were pleasantly surprised about the quality of food. It was great for being typical bar food, the chef had taken the time to season the vegetables on my husbands burger and my fish was great as well! We ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and found them excellent with great crispiness and flavor. Service was wonderful. Place was empty tonight, except for a private party. Waitress was friendly, even accommodated us by closing the door to the lounge at our request so the blasted trap music from the party wasn't so loud. Nachos and pizza rolls were delicious. Hubs said Old South Burger was good but he couldn't finish it, he says it is MUCH bigger than it looks.

While the food may have not been my all time favorite the customer service was incredible! I will return for that reason. Friendly staff and great to talk with. Food wasn’t bad per say it just wasn’t what I thought it would taste like!
