“As newcomers to the Wilmington area, we are always looking for great food, drink, service and atmosphere. Three10 did not disappoint. A quaint bungalow turned restaurant in the Brooklyn Arts District, with a small but inviting dining room area and a dining bar that faces the very organized and chill kitchen. The dining bar was our choice. Jill was our primary service person working alongside Claire. They were both excellent! Knowledgeable, professional and personable; not easy find, regardless of caliber of restaurant. I started with the cocktail "The One Where They Brown the Butter", which was bourbon based, had hints of sweet from the browned butter and brown sugar, although not overpowering. It was delicious and easy to drink.We started our meal with the Hushpuppies, Tuna Tartare and raw Oysters, all of which were excellent. The pepper jelly base under the hushpuppies was subtle but added so much flavor. The base of diced beets/sweet potatoes with the Tuna Tartare was seasonally fresh.The 2 NC blue crabcakes had a subtle cayenne heat, balanced with the creaminess of the celery root gribiche and made with the same base as the hushpuppies. Needless to say, we did not have room for dessert.....Overall, our first visit was excellent, not only for the great food but for the knowledgeable and friendly service. We will be back!“

“I tried Brent’s Bistro on 3/3/24. I did not have reservations, and I was sat immediately. I may have got lucky, so it is probably a good idea to make a reservation.We started with the crab dip. It was fantastic. It was loaded with crab with a lovely browned cheese topped with diced tomatoes and chives. Most crab dips that I try are loaded with mayo and not crab. Not this one. This is crab-forward and the best I have ever had.After the crab dip, we tried some salads. We ordered the house salad and the sweet pea salad. Both were excellent. I got ranch dressing with the house salad. It was homemade dressing.For our main dishes, we ordered the unique Grilled Mahi w/a honey almond basil pesto rub Served over Spinach risotto, Finished bruschetta tomatoes & balsamic, and the *Salmon Piccata: Sauteed salmon topped with a classic lemon caper sauce served with mashed potatoes and green beans. Both dishes were fantastic. I do have to say that the risotto that came with the special was undercooked. Still, they handled it very well by immediately replacing it with some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever had, so I did not ding them on the stars because it is undeniable their food is five stars. A note for wine drinkers is at least for our first visit, the amount they pour for a glass is very generous.As mentioned, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very nice and pleasant. Whatever he’s getting paid is simply not enough.“

“Wow, wow, wow!! This was an all around amazing meal. We came in on a Friday at about 5:30pm. The hostess was very friendly and got us a high chair and let us pick our table. It's a good sized restaurant with Italian themed decor and a large bar area. It was casual and inviting. Our waitress was so nice and sweet talking to my baby boy. She knew to ask for his order first. Kids have 5 free meal options and 5 meals under $7. We also ordered their brussel sprouts appetizer from the feature menu right away. They were so crispy and I liked the balsamic glaze. While we looked over the menu she brought us the best rolls with herb butter! So good! We ordered the stuff eggplant, the Gorgonzola chicken with whipped potatoes and the angel hair pasta with Sunday sauce. All the entrees come with a salad. Their dressing is made in-house and they were very good. Our meals came out hot, flavorful and fresh! My son's meal was huge and perfectly cooked. The chef came out and also said hi to my son and joking asked if he liked the chicken. He smiled. We had so much food that we had leftovers for another meal. We just didn't have room for desserts but they sound delicious. I definitely plan to come back and try more of their menu.“

“Genki is easily the best sushi in Wilmington.Sushi is my favorite food, and over the years living in Wilmington I have always had my birthday dinner at sushi restaurants in town. Genki became the new birthday spot after one dinner there, and it has been for years since.Its strip mall storefront makes the place seem modest, but looks can be deceiving - the food and service is exquisite, from the carefully crafted sushi to the warm hand towels given to customers.As far as sushi goes, the yellowtail nigiri is the best we have tried. Trailing close behind comes the smelt roe nigiri (add a quail egg on top for maximum enjoyment) and eel rolls (cucumber or avocado).Another must is the miso soup! The hijiki seaweed salad is amazing too.Only positive things to say…“

“First time at Port Land Grille, and the service was impeccable, the manager (Eric) came by several times to check if we were enjoying the food and if there was anything we needed. The food was amazing. I had the spinach and chicken lasagna and my boyfriend had rib eye steak (which by the way was cooked perfect) , we shared a spinach and pear salad , I highly recommend it and we also shared crab cake. 10 out of 10. The servings were very generous and the cost I believe was comparable with other restaurants in the area. We will definitely be going back. Thanks to all the staff for their great service.“

“Heard a lot about this place and decided to check it out. We had a Great meal tonight and sat in a booth - Which we prefer because it’s more quiet and sometimes I have a hard time hearing. We had the Fisherman’s Pasta and Fried Oysters dinner. For my pasta dish I told them to hold the red pepper flakes and add more Garlic. YUM!! Both our dishes came out steaming HOT and delicious - and at the same time! Nice big pieces of oysters, scallops, shrimp, mussels and Catch of the Day was Mahi Mahi. They also had Trout and Salmon Catch of the Day. Waitress - Asia - was superb - I even had to get a T-Shirt! We will definitely be back. Great place for Seafood!!“

One fills the fast food niche, another is for quick gyros, and Black Sea Grill is for everything else.My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here and tried as much food as we could eat to really judge it. It was just a short walk over to this historical restaurant with the most beautiful old real wooden floors and we got a great booth! It wasn't busy for lunch and the waiter was wonderfully friendly! Hubby tried the BBQ Clam Chowder and it was loaded with clams with just a hint of bbq in a delicious homemade cream based sauce not too thick at all! He also got the burger cooked perfectly and I got the linguini and calamari! We ended up walking to the bar and asking for some. Drinks ran empty. We just didn’t seem to be the table she was worried about. “I have been a customer for years. Recently, they restarted their home delivery and it is the bomb! They sent an email out on Tuesdays with their specials and fresh Fish list. All you do is fill out a form with your information and what you would like in your order. You even include how you want your order prepared, such as seasoned steamed shrimp or fillet without skin.Deliveries are on Thursdays and usually midday to early afternoon, For me anyway.If I am out running errands, I simply leave a note on my door and a cooler and ask the delivery to go in the coolerI just picked up my delivery for this week off my porch, some fresh tilefish, and mahi-mahi with last of the season oysters, and they even included a spinach and artichoke crab dipI have been ordering from the service for about 6 to 7 weeks and look forward to it every week. It’s so convenient for me and the service is great. My products are always fresh and ready to be prepared for cooking.Thanks Seaview!“

“Highly recommend! My large family (party of 18) dined here at the last minute on a Friday evening and this was, honestly, one of the most pleasant dining experiences I have ever had. After being told by another seafood restaurant in the area that they could not accommodate our party, we called Hieronymous and the friendly staff welcomed us in with open arms. We were seated immediately in a room upon arrival. The wait staff was friendly, fast and accommodating. Everyone’s food came out timely and looked and tasted great! They were even happy to take family pics of us when were done eating. We never felt rushed even though it was late and we knew the restaurant was closing soon. We were all in Wilmington for a funeral and this experience was definitely a positive ending to a tough day for us. We are in Wilmington often and will definitely be back soon!!
