Just had a late lunch today at Zocalo. We love Mexican food and Zocalo is the best in Wilmington. I would say this is upscale Mexican food that is delicious with a very creative presentation. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere and decor was very tasteful. The black beans and the tortillas are made in house. Wonderful!
The first time here, the food was excellent. The price was good for lunch. I didn't look at dinner prices. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It's definitely worth coming back.

Zocalo's has so many great options for vegetarians. I had a burrito, which was huge. I took half of it home. They serve complimentary tortilla chips and give free refills for the chips and their delicious salsa. Our waitress was excellent and the music was energetic and fun for my grandchildren to dance to.
