“I had dinner here and ordered the filet mignon. It was excellent, tender, cooked perfectly, and delicious. My wife ordered the pork chop, and she loved it. She wanted me to try hers, I did, and it was the most tender, moist, and flavorful one I've ever eaten. The waitress was also great, very friendly, pleasant young lady, I believe her name was Ashley.“
“First time eating there. Service was Excellent and The Food Reminds Me Of My Childhood Hotdogs and Fries . Simply Prepared Chilly On A Nice Soft Bun , Hotdog Was Delicious and The Crinkled Fries Were Slightly Crisp, Everything Was Delicious . I will return .“
“First time here and will be back. They offer a variety of food from burgers to chicken to seafood. I ordered a Dbl Bacon Deluxe Butter Burger combo and Butterfly Shrimp. That was pretty good. Dessert was somewhat a challenge because they don't offer any signature Concrete creations so you have to create your own. So a foodie like myself might have trouble deciding what would taste the best together. However the staff was patient and helpful with this process lol. The atmosphere was busy and buzzy. The dining room TV was set to entertain children, so SpongeBob was doing his job. I will be back to try some other menu items and to take some pics.“
“I ordered Bills cheese burger with chili, mustard and onions, fried okra, sweet potato fries. All I can say is YUM!! Everything was amazing. Ended with the pineapple cake made in house. It was light, fluffy and not overly sweet. What a treasure to find this place. Definitely worth the trip!“
“I dined alone, so I had time to really take in the atmosphere. The dining room I was in seemed dull and claustrophobic. No real zeal to entertain the eye. I was seated at a 2 top shoved along the back wall. They had 2 tops that had booth seat facing the room. Having been sat at one of those would have helped with the closed in feeling.The service was impeccable. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this place is "hoity-toity" or pretentious. The food struggled with portion abundance. I would have been thrilled to have about 1/3 less brussel sprouts. Which are Effing PHENOMENAL! I ate about 3 too many, which pushed my taste buds beyond the relm of perfection and into "well, now, that's just oversalted." Difficult to not eat every morsel. I had to leave a few... sadly.Overall, the food isn't pretty, but it tastes exceptional.“
“This place is great! Best country food around. The wait is worth it. (Usually 30 minutes or so). Waitstaff is friendly and always on task. There is a variety of food and they always keep it full and hot. Desserts are always good. The cherry cobbler is my favorite. I would recommend this place over any other buffet house around. Minor flaw is one cook who peppers some pieces heavier than others, too much for our taste.UPDATE 01/2024:Since the original report, Smithfields in Wilson has either changed formula or begun overcooking its chicken and seems to use a heavier oil than before.Golden brown chiken has become medium brown, crisp & flaky crust has become more flat & crushed in nature.Consistent size pieces have become nearly half sized on several occasions!We are guessing this is a local management issue, or the lack of consistent management at this store.“

“I love this place. It’s so funny to see the negative reviews and how they are all 1* for the most benign negative experience. Or how they talk about portion size and do not reference the price and how it correlates. I love the corner deli across the street - but it’s almost twice the price! This is perfect as you get really creative delicious options, that yes are smaller, but also more affordable (which I get is laughable for post Covid prices, but that’s where we are). One of our main 3 spots in the dt area between ruckus and corner but we hit this 2-3x as often because of the price and just not needing a huge meal most of the time. Friday after thanksgiving/rueben are my favorite lunch/dinner go to and the millennial is my go to breakfast sandwich. Try to deserts as well they have awesome seasonal cinnamon rolls along with all kinds of sweet treats. Thank you guys for sticking it out I know how hard it is to run a small business these days with the margins shrinking and customer complaints at an all time high not to mention labor being impossible to find. The girls that work there have always been nice and friendly to us so we personally have no complaints on staff.Parking: Huge free parking lot in front of ruckus if you can’t get a spot on the street. “One of the best burgers I've ever had! The receipt says "Will" waited on me. Well if it was, she was great. Pricie was perfect... A young man and his grandmother were sitting next to me and he said he enjoyed chocolate ice cream cones and she said German Chocolate cake...well, I got each what they liked on my way out without them knowing. Paying forward is nice when you can and nice people deserve it. A hidden gem!“
“Crowded when we got there. Ashley said to give her a minute. She had a table cleared and us sitting with drinks in no time. Breakfast was great and all the food was hot and cooked to order. Ashley went above and beyond to make our stop on our trip enjoyable.“
“Really well cooked food, everything is decent there. Except they dont have Provalone cheese for Steak Subs, or Motzorella cheese either. The price is expensive. But its clean and nice. 5 Stars from me. ?Parking: Big shopping area Parking Lot. Plenty of space, Not far from resturant. Small eat in resturant. Cheese steaks are great, you have to ask them to grill your buns. But No Provalone or Motzorella cheese ?. That almost ruined my sub. But it was still good. Frys are great too. They make stuff like you want it. Oh, Their Seats Are Very Hard. Except the high Stools at high Tables. And they Shouldnt Spray Cleaners on Tables while customers are eating near by. Thats Not Healthy at all. Especially for people with breathing problems. (Like I Use to have.) Im healed.??????.Ask them not to spray that stuff while youre Eating.They did comply. All young people work there, as far as I can tell. I been there a few times. They are expensive. About $13. For a Sub, Frys & drink. Free refills. ( Self service). Pay before you get your food.
