Normally get takeout sandwiches and a couple pounds to go when I am through town. Slaw is on the sweeter side and pairs well with the BBQ. Drive up is always packed but moves quickly.
Well I kind of grew up with the family so I lived it and worked it. Working at Bill's was a lot of fun and hard work. Family made it memorable. I miss my family and friends at Bill's and the food. It was the best.But that was then this is now. Marty's is as good and better as Bill's was. I miss the people and the food as soon as I leave to go home. Wilson was apart of my life and always a home.

I ordered a flounder dinner today with slaw, collards, hush puppies and blueberry cobbler.I requested the flounder be cooked crispy and it was perfect. The collards were not as good as mine but I ate them. Everything else was so good I cleaned the plate, which is something I don’t usually do. I would have tipped the cook if I could for the flounder.Congratulations Marty’s good food and excellent service.
