The Pittsburgh Steak Salad with the lemon vinaigrette is top notch, as well as the Jail Bird Jerky and the Ruben Croquettes!! The drinks are super good, if you are a light weight, then you'll be good off of one. If you're a heavy weight, then you'll probably be good off of two, lol!!! I definitely recommend this spot.“

I would definitely recommend this place for kids - they have a good children's menu that is well-priced (I think it was about $7 for a combo). I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was excellent.Definitely looks like a dive so will give atmosphere 4 stars (it personally doesn't bother me but others might find it grungy).“

“I stopped here after seeing the reviews and it's not much to look at but it's clean and simple. It is a great place to get a chilli dog and hamburgers and you can make it a meal by adding the yummy tator tots or fries with chilli and cheese. And if you are looking for something sweet let them talk you into getting one of their pies they have at the register that they put on the grill and serve it hot. I get hungry just thinking about it lol.... I can't wait to go back!The people who work there make the experience perfect after getting the fantastically delicious simple food they are super nice and super helpful and they went out of their way to make my 1st experience there terrific. I was really in a burger mood. I know about Cagney's which is great .. I saw a strip mall kind of back and up to the left. I thought the odds are small of something being in this place. But I've never been up here, so I'm gonna look.Sure enough there was a Thunder Road bar and grill. I had my apprehensions since I am a non drinker. But I guess the bar part is just open on. The bar part is just open evenings? So I wondered in this sharp but slight Is little sandwich shop. I was impressed the minute that I walked in the door without cleaning it was. The waitress was very prompt, friendly. Courteous and glad to answer my questions. And in a reasonable amount of time, I was served a true chargrilled burger on a brioche bun. Really nice. And they were happy to give me a salad instead of french fries. And I was happy to find out that it was true homemade buttermilk ranch dressing.This was a really nice experience and a really good fast meal. Again, this is another one of those. I would love it if there was a 4.5.... I will be back. I really loved the taste of the burger. OH! “Ok, full disclosure.... I'm not a fan of diners, I know it's so very Un American of me! I expected to leave WestTown disappointed and underwhelmed but I was pleasantly surprised on this trip. I got the Greek omelet with bacon and it was flavorful and stuffed full of tomatoes, spinach and feta. The home fries were crispy and seasoned nicely too. My friend ordered the two egg breakfast that comes with a third egg free if requested. She's southern by birth and gave the accompanying biscuit and sausage gravy a thumbs up. The mimosa flight was disappointing as it tasted more like juice than a bubbly mimosa. But at $10, it shouldn't surprise anyone that it isn't heavy on the alcohol. I would suggest bumping up the price and balancing out the ratio. All in all, I typically avoid diners that have such extensive menus but for a solid breakfast at a great price, I will visit WestTown again. On a fun note, they've recently added a soup flight after a social media post on a "Winston Eats FB Page" requested that such a thing should exist. So far, great reviews on that so maybe I'll try that next time too! Service was fast and friendly ....ambiance is what you would expect. ...Nice family run, casual spot! New ownership so if you've tried them in the past, might be worth another try..... but you really need to be a diner person too“

Yall are sleeping on North Point Grill!!!!! ?Food was fresh,fast and FULL of flavor.I took one bite of my Smokehouse Burger and slapped the dash of my work truck so hard my Hubby jumped!!!This Burger really packs a punch, all that crispy bacon and gooey cheese...paired perfectly with their bbq sauce...the patty was not too thin or too thick.The toast was somehow soft AND crunchy!! Never have I ever had toast that I felt I needed to talk about in a review? but they have per-fected it!My hubby got the Greek Platter and he said the salad dressing was the show stopper for him.He was even curious if they would just sell him a bottle of it!!We have eaten here many times over the years and I've never had a bad meal, or had to wait longer than the 10 to 15 minutes it takes to cook your order.The gentleman behind the counter,( I believe may be the owner or manager because hes always there), was so professional and polite. It seems these days quality of service in alot of places has gone down hill, but not at North Point Grill!!!!He gave us our drinks while we waited on our to go order and insisted on refilling the drinks before we left. “I have eaten at the popular neighborhood deli several times but for some reason I didn't put review together. To correct that I stopped in for lunch today.They have a broad menu offering a variety of sandwiches, burgers, wraps, a double hand full of salads, a couple of soups, and a few appetizers.I ordered their signature sandwich the Super Cham with a side of fries. The sandwich has a large portion of deep fried, buttermilk battered chicken breast, served on a hamburger bun along with grilled ham ( Yeap, ham), provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The sandwich was out in about 15 minutes.This is a huge chicken sandwich dwarfing all others in this area except for that at Bad Daddy's. This was an excellent sandwich, the chicken was tender & moist and perfectly cooked. There was so much chicken that the taste of the thin slice of ham and the cheese was mostly muted, but it really wasn't needed. The cost was $9.99 including the side of FF- that is a real value meal. There is no table service here, nor do they bring the food to your table, rather they call out your order number and you go to the front and pick up the order. I'm not a big fan of this as a seasoned citizen, but it seems to work for most folks. The contact with employees is definitely limited making things feel more than a little remote.I'll be back of course - want to try the Club Sandwich, the Club Salad, the Bacocheese Burger. and maybe a bit more and I'm already a fan of their Reuben and Rachel.“

I called several times, it directed me to voice mail which then directed me to order online. I drive up there to place the order and it’s not busy. There was one person placing an order, no one dining. Im older. I prefer the old school way of calling on a telephone, but on the bright side, the internet does allow me to leave a review voicing my opinion about this. I could understand if it were busy but it was far from it. Why have a phone if you’re not going to answer it. You would save money on a phone bill every month. But it’s usually consistently good food, that’s why I only took off one star.“
